n!faculty recruit Five Crowns

Well known German organization n!faculty have decided to cut their German based team due to the current situation of German scene and lack of results. At the same time they have announced the recruitment of Swedish team Five Crowns.

The German team were one of the hottest names in fall 2012, when they made headlines multiple times by finishing 4th at ESWC 2012 and winning EPS Germany for example, only to end the year with disappointing 9-16th finish at DreamHack Winter 2012.

2013 didn't start any better for the team, as they lost all of their three games at ESH Vienna after a disaster performance. After that the team has undergone multiple changes, which have not helped the team to retrieve their fall 2012 level.

Kirby & co have been left homeless 

Now n!faculty have announced that they have decided to remove the German team from the organization, due to their performances in past months and current level of German EPS.

"Due to the current development of the German CS:GO scene and because of the latest performance of our team we decided to stop our activity in CS:GO regarding a German team." starts the statement of Christian "PsYcHo" Lenz of n!faculty on their website.

"In the last weeks our team showed a performance underneath our expectations and requirements. By changing Christoph (n!disruptor) with Chris (n!chrisJ) we tried to boost a positive development, but in the end there was no viewable success. For now the team places #10 at the ESL Pro Series with two points out of five games. At the ESEA Invite League it looks even worse. Out of eight games the team just gained three points having a 1-8 series. That these results do not meet our requirements, should be very clear."

"The fact that the ESL Pro Series Germany already lost a lot of his reputation, just provides a few exciting games and recently lost big names like mousesports accompanies our decision. That this decision "supports" this negative development of the EPS is sad, but necessary. Because in the end we have an obligation towards our sponsors and fans.

Now the homeless German team is currently participating in ESEA's invite season 14 and current season of EPS Germany with the following lineup:

Chris "chrisJ" de Jong

The organization's second announcement of the night came only few hours after the first one, as they announced the recruitment of Swedish team Five Crowns. Five Crowns were last seen in action in the FACE IT June Cup, where the team finished 2nd after losing to Epsilon 0-2 in grand final.

Before that they made waves at the DreamHack Summer 2013 where they lost to NiP 15-19 after an overtime in the last match of the group stage.

n!faculty's LAN debut will be DreamHack Valencia, set to take place on July 18-21st in the Mediterranean city that saw NiP clinch the tournament last year over VeryGames.
