karrigan joins Playing Ducks

Playing Ducks have announced that they have completed their CS:GO lineup with the addition of Finn "karrigan" Andersen.

The Danish veteran had been on the lookout for a new team after fnatic decided to disband their entire squad to put an end to a series of disappointing results.

Andersen was in fact the only player from the former fnatic team who had not yet decided his future, with Andreas "MODDII" Fridh having joined Epsilon, Michael "Friis" Jørgensen and Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth having both been picked up by Copenhagen Wolves, and Martin "trace" Heldt having retired from gaming.

karrigan to play for a German team again

He has now decided to return to a German team and continue his career in Playing Ducks, who recently picked up the former n!faculty squad, led by Chris "chrisJ" de Jong.

Andersen will be stepping into the shoes of Simon "smn" Beck, who was recruited by /10/ on Tuesday evening.

"Well ever since the huge dispute about my internet connection and thus me no longer being allowed to play in some leagues from home (coupled with a badly timed vacation) our results have been simply disastrous," De Jong told HLTV.org.

"We had a pretty decent start with the team due to everyone simply being good enough skillwise, but we were missing something for sure. I'm not a true ingame leader and neither is LEGIJA (we kinda shared the role) so when we heard Finn was interested in joining it instantly sounded like the perfect solution.

"Sadly Finn won't be able to play our next two EPS matches, due to only being eligible to play from Sunday, so since Simon and us split up on good terms he will still help us in our EPS matches.

"Every EPS match will be crucial for us now since we cannot afford to lose one more if we want to reach the playoffs. Other than that we will finish the ESEA season and prepare for the next season of EMS because faculty was kind enough to hand us over the EPS/EMS slot.

"Thanks to Playing-Ducks for supporting us on such a short notice, hopefully this will mean a fresh and strong start for us ! Greetings"

Playing Ducks now have the following team:

For example: Inzta, frozt, vimo, jokern, ruggah, rytter, hunden, tabaco, isenbo, helsing, endoze and a lot more good players. Maybe you can find some of the players in unofficial teams, but most of them shouldn't have a team. whammy and disko is also trying to rebuild EYES ON U, so they are probally looking for 3 players. So it is kinda easy if you aren't lazy as fuck, wich most of the top players unfortunately is ...

I am sure that a lot of these guys are much better, but it can also have something to do with the players background. Karrigan is from 1.6 and most of the best players in GO, without a team, is from Source. But I am looking forward to see how this team with Karrigan as captain will devolp. GL to them for sure.

thats the smartest option if fnatic orga think with brain and not heart. And these times is the best momnet to get the fuck out of this economically draining and dying 5 man roster title. I cannot find any logic how or why fnatic would care to continue this buisness, unless they land a top 4 team at least or/and get favorable salary contracts with these top players, pretty unlikely

i doubt that fnatic will hire an unmotivated team which has shown nothing more than some 14-16 losses (sad but true) and some top4 finishes at sltv same problems with trace...high potential/skill but the passion for the new game was never there
