The Polish squad Golden Five who have been representing ESC Gaming made a post on their Facebook page implying that their time has come to an end.

A Facebook post implying the end of the team's era appeared on Golden Five's page which is operated by all of the Polish players.

Was this the last time we saw the Golden Five in action together?

Rumors are starting to fly around that some of ESC's members might be teaming up with some members of the recently released Virtus.pro squad. HLTV.org will keep you updated on the matter, so stay tuned.

Very sad day for CS in general. They were always my favourite team to follow because most of the time they were the absolute underdog. Amazing team which had a real passion for this game. Hopefully someone will be making a 'complete' legendary CS movie of these guys accomplishments in 1.6. Farewell G5!

This isn't SC2, it doesn't have the hype that SC2 had. CSGO doesn't have 3-4 years for new young players to start getting good, and definitely the playerbase isn't showing it has enough people playing to make that happen.

If u watched or know anything about em u would knew that they are using same circle of players since long time ago. Its kinda same as VG in some way VG isnt only current 5 players but many more. What about changing orgs ? What does it have to do with disband or retirement ? Its not like right now with esc when half of players will retire since they realize that they are weak. VG is good, WW is inconsistent, Anexis is shit, LDLC is inconsistent, CPH have 2 1.6 now and are unproven, curse is unproven. NiP, former Virtus.Pro, Epsi, Na'Vi, Quantic (NA) all either are better than your list or have more potential (1.6 core or full 1.6) In regards to this post, it is clear to me that VP + ESC or VP + Na'Vi incoming (I would bet on the first one) and I can bet it will be a top 3 team.

IMO You have less than 5 top 25 players in these 2 teams, dosia and ange1 are clearly top players with very good entry fragging skills, Guardian may be the best player outside Sweden. Neo and taz are a team, as are dosia and fox so either you take dosia's brother and one other like AdreN or the Neo and Taz combo. You may see an age mix too since the nostalgie mix worked partly due to the mix of veteran exp. and young ferocity. Also I'd add that Marik seems to be an ideal teammate who seems to play with a smile and a good attitude while loord and zeus seem to be too aggro to be in top form.
