Dosia: "Insults and threats"

Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov has added even more fuel to all the talk surrounding Virtus.pro by criticising the organisation's treatment of the players.

Only a few hours after confirming that they had closed down their CS:GO division, Virtus.pro accused the players of blackmailing the organisation and made it clear that every member of the squad had a contract until the end of the year.

Sergey "Fox" Stolyarov quickly reacted to that statement, denying any sort of foul play from the team's point of view and suggesting that Virtus.pro had not held up their end of the bargain either.

Dosia also comments on Virtus.pro exit

His brother, Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov, has now come forth to shed even more light into this matter, going as far as to claim that the players were not even contracted to Virtus.pro in the first place.

"Contracts? Never heard about them! Regulations? Yes, there were regulations!," he wrote on vk.com, Russia's main social media network.

"Was there anything about leaving the organisation in those regulations? No!

"We had an oral agreement with LeX, and the main point of it was that if we got an offer, we would go to Virtus.pro's chiefs to discuss it.

"This time we did not hear anything but insults and threats.

"Very nice way to solve a problem. They are really able to motivate people..."

According to Navi-gaming.com, Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov is part of a new CIS top team boasting players like Yegor "markeloff" Markelov and Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev.

if they have a valid proof like recording or agreement on paper(which is actually a contract) they might get to the court, but we don't know that for sure yet. Without any actual proof there is no way both sides gonna end up in court.

Oh the Russian education... An oral employment contract is NOT legal in Russia. I thought that was common knowledge... Having a written form of an employment contract is mandatory in Russia since 1992.

an agreement which outlines salaries, job duties, responsibilities and job schedule is an employment contract. i wonder whether VP payed the taxes hehe... they're like 45% of the salary.

it was an employment contract, like it or not. and it's pretty obvious that taxes are the reason why they didn't want to have a proper contract. VP had a salary of like 350 euros, which amounts to like 550 euros before taxes. wouldn't call that unpayable.

taxes in russia? are you kidding? you have to pay full taxes only if you're going to enter politics on the opposite to the Tsar side otherwise some little presents for servants of the people on february 23 and november 10 solve the problem completely ukraine has the same story thanks to 'proffesor'

I'm fairly sure Sweden and Norway have pretty much the same laws about oral agreements. The problem about oral agreements is that nobody can really prove anything without a recording where both parties have clearly identified themselves with witnesses. So in short if it goes to shit an oral agreement is useless.

Alright then dumb ass let's get legal. An oral.contract is usually used in simple transactions such as trade or barters. If lex really thought that an oral contract is enough for an org such as VP then he's paying for his mistake right now. An oral contract is only legally binding if it can be proven in court and good luck trying to prove it against 5 players. Throwing around big words isn't going to help you. You don't need to be a lawyer or have to study any law to understand that the reason written contracts are used is because that's what is taken to court in case there's a dispute.

Omfg the issue isn't whether or not the had a verbal.contract or not, its about the content of that contract. Both parties say that the other broke promises. That's why oral contracts don't mean shit. There's no proof on what they actually agreed on. Now stop talking you're embarrassing yourself

I think, it (agreement) means that if they had an offer from other organizations, they should DISCUSS with VP orga first. They (players) contacted with management of VP (probably when they got an offer), but orga thought that they're trying to blackmail them and started insulting, threatening them etc. You should read Dosia's post on his page in russian more carefully, because i might be mistaken (i don't know russian that much).

People dont realize how hard it is to prove an oral agreement. Dosia might have admitted that they had an oral agreement but he didn't indicate what was the agreement about exactly. he said they promised for things VP seniors might deny and the team might deny the contents of the verbal agreement so they are useless. If so the rest of VP admit they had an oral agreement in the beginning.
