allu & natu form a new team

Former Curse.EU players Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Joona "natu" Leppänen have formed a new Finnish team featuring players from the former myDGB.net and ENCE eSports teams.

Both were last seen at DreamHack Summer 2013, where Jalli was playing in the tournament with his now former team Cursive, while Leppänen made his CS:GO casting debut for DreamHack TV.

Joining Jalli and Leppänen in the team are Harri "reVicer" Kukkonen and Mikko "xartE" Välimaa, who both impressed at the ESPC CS:GO #1 event in February, where they competed in the first generation of team RAIDERS.

Completing the lineup is Miikka "suNny" Kemppi, who was stand-in for Cursive's Välimaa at DreamHack Summer. Kemppi's former team was ENCE eSports, which folded after multiple roster changes.

HLTV.org reached out to Joona "natu" Leppänen for a comment regarding his new roster and return to competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive:

"Walla walla wasp wackers, or more conveniently 4w, is a new Finnish CS:GO team consisting of allu, natu, reVicer, xartE and suNny. We are here to work our way up and earn a slice of everyone's respect with how we do on the battlefield", Leppänen told HLTV.org.

"We plan to attend any significant online competition out there and as many international tournaments as we can down the road. The competition is getting tougher all the time and it will be a lot of fun to put ourselves against the very best", he continued.

"We are currently working as an independent team without an affiliation to any sponsors or organisations. Please do get in touch with us if you would like to have this awesome team as a part of your organisation"

As mentioned in the statement, the team is looking for a organization that could support the team to international tournaments. 4w now consists of the following players:

Joona "natu" Leppänen
Aleksi "allu" Jalli
Harri "reVicer" Kukkonen
Mikko "xartE" Välimaa
Miikka "suNny" Kemppi

With Assembly Summer opting not to host a CS:GO tournament, 4w's debut event is currently unknown, although they plan to participate in various online tournaments according to Leppänen.

Sick,I hope they make it far the scene needs some good teams.

Forgot u are a part of hltv staff now xD Dude aren't you excited that your country will be making headlines for finnish eSports again? :D I really wanted to see another finnish top team since CSGO was out cuz let me tell u that back in 1.6 Winfakt.fi despite not being around for long really impressed me as a team and earned a place in my heart as one of the most interesting teams in CS that i had seen and i kinda want the same story to repeat in GO now

haha ;D Yeah I am, I think this team can go far in terms of challenging best teams of Europe. solemn is also a team from Finland that people should be looking at, they will make waves next month when ESL EMS RC One qualifiers start again (I think)!

I really hope so dude you have no idea how much i admire aslak's AWP back in the day... he was completely on point every time i watched him play... and the rest of the players in that team were like insane too not to mention a certain finnish player that people really underrate but is totally nuts in terms of tactical play and game reading so... yeah milA you better do your best keeping this community up-to-date with your local scene k?

4w must be the first serious team whose training regime consists completely of matchmaking in the wee hours where they try to stall hackers behind solid walls in order to achieve Global Elite for natu. All this while xartE is exclusively stalking chickens, reVicer threatening to beat up everybody and allu confessing how he skipped practices in CurseEU. Obviously this team will never achieve anything being finnish and all that but still, how could you not just love these fucking guys?
