Astana Dragons to Bucharest

Astana Dragons have been confirmed as a participant at DreamHack Bucharest's $15,000 CS:GO tournament on September 14-15th in Romania's capital.

The CIS-based and Kazahkstani funded organization said they planned on attending all big international events when they were founded a last week, and now they've confirmed the first one.

DreamHack Bucharest already boasts an impressive team list with the likes of NiP, VeryGames, LDLC and Copenhagen Wolves confirmed and it has now added one of the most hyped up teams in recent CS history.

Edward & co will travel to Bucharest in September

The Dragons were invited to Mad Catz Invitational's online tournament as well so it's possible they may make their LAN debut earlier at the finals in Cologne just under a month from now.

Currently the team list for DreamHack Bucharest features eight teams, with an additional eight more slots open for other teams. Four spots have been reserved for Romanian teams.

NiP, Verygames , NAVI , CPW , NextPlease, TEG , LDC , Astana Dragons , n!faculty. They are almost all best teams in the world.Of course without Teg and nextplease. With ESC and +2 or 3 teams in this competition i think it will be the best competition of CS:GO from this year.

Would love to see an organization like fnatic or Anexis pick up ex-Epsilon for this event. Maybe G5 + GuardiaN, though I don't have a good feeling about that. Also +WW, though they haven't been doing too well (or much?) lately

I wouldn't say they're the best Danish team, but they have the greatest potential. We've seen them do things like crush NiP and CPH, but they're very inconsistent. I hope they do join and place in top 3, though.

They've had times where they beat VG (with kennyS), NiP 16-2, but other times when they've lost to fnatic and CPH (Blast dk LAN), losing to Virtus, etc.

Ya but pasha and Kuben are not playing for Poland in EC... meaning they declined the invitation, meaning they might not be willing to play actively anymore.. it's all speculation, I guess we'll know in the days to come. But we need some kind of Pole lineup, despite how bad they've been doing we want to see NEO and TaZ playing!

There's already two Romanian teams... does this mean there will be two more? Or are there 4 more spots left for the Romanians? I hope only two more, this event could be even more stacked than it is, and no offense to the Romanian scene but the two already invited are the only teams that might pose a threat to anyone at this event, and even that is a stretch.

Best thing for navi would be +taz/neo/guardian/z1/bondik/blade. The more unknown Ukrainians have some decent talent just not sure since i havent seen em since 1.6
