W. Wolves to attend DH Bucharest

The organisers behind DreamHack Bucharest have announced that Western Wolves have been invited to take part in the tournament.

The Romanian event is scheduled to take place from September 14th to 15th at the Polyvalent Hall, a multi-purpose hall located in the Tineretului Park, in the heart of Bucharest.

There will be 16 teams in contention in the CS:GO tournament, which will hand out $15,000 in cash prizes, in addition to a wildcard to Dreamhack Winter later this year.

WW are the second Danish team confirmed at the event

After almost a month without news from Western Wolves, the Danish team now seem to be fully back on track as they are the latest team to be added to the mouth-watering participants' list of DreamHack Bucharest.

The event could very well mark the LAN debut in Western Wolves for Peter "Inzta" Kragelund, who joined the team on Sunday as a replacement for Nichlas "Nille" Busk.

if you look at prize pots for other CS:go tournaments, this one isn't bad at all. if these guys want to make a living from gaming, they will be at their best. there is much more than the face value of the prize money up for grabs. sponsors are watching, fans are watching; there is no reason for the players to give less than 100% effort

That's the thing compared to other CS:GO tournaments. We need prizes of at least 20K for the winner at mid-tournaments. I'd like to see every team in top shape, but I wouldn't blame them if they weren't :) I just hope that lurppis is right in #45 After all WW, Na`Vi and AD especially will have a lot to prove.

actually i think the timing for this tournament works in its favor a lot - it will have been over two months for most teams since their last lan tournament, so everyone should be motivated to do well, even though prizes etc aren't mindblowing.

I certainly hope so :) Other than SLTV StarSeries, other tournaments have had multiple teams underperforming each time.

I dunno about epsilon, yeah they are pretty good, but they always end up knocking my favourite team out, then under performing in the next round or summin, vp would be sick, and now that I think about it, both of the finnish teams will be good additions, eternity can fuck off though...

Would love to see SteelShock to come as their roster is insane and could definitely do some serious damage. Other than that, it'd be cool to see the newly formed ROCCAT too.

Well, I've seen the five players practice together, so something has to be with it. If not, it's sad for the UK scene, they don't have any good teams at this point in time. I saw wilzOO, hudzG, steel, nooky and MX on an Anexis server.

Lurppis or someone else with connections, it would be great to know if there is a possibility that DH organizers would create a donation fund directed at increasing this prizepot. I'm sure a lot of fans would donate if possible. Now is the time to do that as there is still a month to go.
