TaZ reacts to Loord criticism

ESC Gaming veteran Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas has issued a statement to react to Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski's criticism.

On Thursday morning, Cybulski was seen publishing on Facebook several comments in which he criticised the way he was treated by his team-mates during his seven-year stint in ESC Gaming.

He also took the opportunity to say that he was never interested in becoming a star player and that he was focused on helping the team to win turnaments rather than top the statistics' charts.

Cybulski went on to lament the decision to replace Łukasz "LUq" Wnek with Jarosław "pasha" Jarząbkowski and stated that Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas had a big role in the problems within the team.

Wojtas has now reacted to such claims, while dropping a big hint that Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński is on his way out of the team.

"1. I wonder why Loord is attacking me, a person who actually talked with him about all the problems and tried to solve them, I was talking with him all the time what is wrong with the game, we were fighting all the time about many things in game, but that's only because we both wanted to win so badly, and it is normal that people have different aproaches. In a situation where you don't have a "leader", a "captain", more than one person make calls, and Loord knew it, but he still decided to throw all the piss at me," he told HLTV.org.

"2. I often went to guys and asked them to do interviews, so it is not like "oh taz is always doing interviews". They would respond - "i'm tired" or "go, you like it", or "you do them the best". It's not a problem for me to do the interview, even though my english is not the best, or I am fucking tired, I don't run from them, because we have sponsors, or want to have sponsors, and we need to be in the interviews.

3. We won 2 major events with Pasha, and had the best year in our career in 2011. It was decision of all 4 members. I was the person to ask them if they don't think if we need changes, rest you know. LUq went fire on me becasue I was suppose to tell it to him, and it ended up to Kuben and Neo talking with him, and when he was hitting on me, nobody reacted. Only Kuben wrote "it's a team decision" to him. My advice for future, to all teams - make logs, record all the talks, so u can have your face after all this.

4. How can person who was fanatic of statistics can even call others out? It's funny that I'm not the main person who he is aiming for. Wonder why he exploded about statistics when we won first map vs Quantic on lan in Dallas, he just went mad that people play for statistics, fuck that we won 16:8. After that situation, our game was finished.

5. I often talked with Loord about him having his facebook page, so he can interact with fans, that it will be good for him and also for sponsors, because he was unique, and he never believed in himself, he was reading all the comments where people were bashing him that he played poorly, and it will be a lie if he does not agree that I told him to "fuck that", because even if you have good statistics and you lose it just means nothing.

6. How does creating a facebook page and updating it once a day, or uploading 1 videoblog for a week take your focus from winning events? For me it was motivation, when I uploaded a blog where I promised that we will start winning, that I will stop playing like shit, I meant it, and I played tons of hours. Why people couldn't do the same? Focus on their game and try to win? It was always looking at others -> he will do that? I WANT THE SAME. But it's me who is accused of beeing a superstar wannabe, yes I want people to look up to me, I want them to support me and my team, but atleast I show respect to them. I said harsh words in the [POD]Cast, but I also mentioned many times that without these five people we wouldn't have had success. I know how good all the players were. Loord lied in his "good bye" statement, and I didn't feel like writing another lie on my page, and thank to him for everything, because he just decided to be a perfect guy.

7. Loord is talking about teams in Poland and he doesn't know the 1/4 of the players and how they play, we had atleast 8 teams in Poland untill now. Maybe CS:GO future is blurry at the moment, but game is getting better, and Loord wanted to play it.

8. All this is just pure aggression towards me, for going public with what I think ended in our team. I admit that I made a mistake and that I shouldn't be that open, but carn can tell you for how long he tried to get me on this pod cast. I didn't know what to say, but when I saw Loord's statement, something had to be done. I want to thank Kuben and Loord for this 7 years of hard work. This change is not because me or anyone else think that Kuben and Loord are bad players. The reason is we couldn't play together anymore, and we decided to end the Golden Five in Kiev. After that it was up to me and neo to decide what we will do next, if we will continue cs:go or stop playing it. It's a pitty that we have this conversation now, after such a rocky road together. For me Kuben was great person and I feel terrible about how we treated him back in the day (when we changed him for 1 event) this should never happen, and I want to say sorry for that, and I will always remember the trip to Minsk with these guys. I'm not perfect, but I never wanted that stuff to go so out of hand, we were talking about all this for so long, and I didn't expect that it could go in such direction. I also see that there is so much hate in polish people towards me, because I never went out and said the truth about all the situations. I will not bring anything more out, I'm done with it. It was an awesome team, and I want to remember it that way."
