Dreamteam and contest winners

Before we enter the final part of 2013 with new competitions, here are the winners of our Dreamteam games for DreamHack Summer, SLTV StarSeries VI, RC EMS One Summer and ESEA S14 Finals, as well our DH Summer "Guess the winner" and RC EMS One Summer "Guess the bracket" contests.

DreamHack Summer 2013 Dreamteam

This edition of our fantasy manager game had 3,821 participants and a lot of great SteelSeries prizes up for grabs for top 5 finishers. Unfortunately, first placed user was discovered to have used over 30 accounts to participate, so he was disqualified, same as the sixth place finisher.

Guess the winner of DH Summer 2013

It wasn't too hard guessing that NiP would take the title at DreamHack, even though they barely pulled through the group stage, but we also asked you to guess who will be the other finalist of the tournament.

That part proved to be very difficult as the Epsilon squad, now known as fnatic, surprised everyone but four of our users who correctly predicted the outcome out of around 1,700 entries.

We randomly drew the winner of the following SteelSeries CS:GO equipment set:

SLTV StarSeries VI Dreamteam

SLTV StarSeries VI Dreamteam had 3,050 participants who also fought for CS:GO editions of SteelSeries equipment including Siberia v2, Kana and QcK+. The league spanned over a month and a half and required the players to be very active. With no multiple accounts among the top three finishers, here are the prize winners and their prizes:

RC EMS One Summer 2013 Dreamteam

Our next Dreamteam game was for the RaidCall EMS One Summer 2013 Finals in Cologne, Germany. The two day event drew 3,010 players to compete for a top 3 finish which brought some more SteelSeries equipment.

Guess RC EMS One bracket

We had another very interesting competition before the event in Germany where you were tasked with guessing how the entire 8-team bracket will play out. With only 7 matches and 128 possible outcomes, we asked you to guess the exact scores too, but it turned out being a difficult request for most people due to some surprising results.

fnatic's victory over LDLC.com in the quarter-final "killed" most of the brackets, with only 23 surviving the first round, with almost no one even getting those four scores right.

However, one user stood out in that small group, mangademoni, as he not only got all the scores of the first round correct, but was the only one to guess the semi-final outcome and then even the final. He even got the score of the first map in the final correct and only missed the 2nd map of VG's triumph by 3 rounds. Here is the bracket that will bring him the pictured prizes:

ESEA Season 14 Global Finals Dreamteam

Our most recent Dreamteam game was based on the ESEA Invite Season 14 Global Finals in Dallas, Texas, where NiP took the title in front of five home teams. 1,662 users participated on that occasion and once again there were no cheaters at the top, so we are glad to present them with the following prizes:
