Pirates go local with new team

Pirates eSports have announced that they have gone back to their roots by supporting a Portuguese CS:GO team.

Last month, Pirates made headlines when they raided Phantoms for their international CS:GO division, which featured former k1ck AWPer Mário "Fyx" Rodrigues and Danish duo Magnus "JOKERN" Barthel and Casper "ruggah" Due.

However, internal problems led to Pirates abandoning the project and focusing instead on an all-Portuguese team, with Mário "Fyx" Rodrigues remaining at the helm of the squad.

Fyx remains in Pirates

Mário "n0rx" Pacheco, who recently played for k1ck, joins Pirates together with his AlienTech teammate João "KillDream" Ferreira, who has represented the likes of exotic and Rasta Gaming in the past.

The last two players, Carlos "xAims" Marques and Ricardo "AIm" Almeida, were household names in the Portuguese 1.6 scene, having played for several top teams in the past, such as Phantoms and Defining Stars.

Pirates' new team consist of the following players:

Mário "Fyx" Rodrigues
Mário "n0rx" Pacheco
João "KillDream" Ferreira
Carlos "xAims" Marques
Ricardo "AIm" Almeida

As we suspected, bibby was only in the team because he was need to pay players their wages. Bibby didn't keep his word so the team disbanded. At least they returned with a better lineup.

Not true :) Ask the team if i fullfilled my obligations and what i promised to the team.. Its cause we couldnt go to iseries cause i got arrested..

I got arrested 2 weeks ago, for lerancy of stolen property & battery! What happen was i was walking home from the club @ 5am to the train station to go home.. Somedrunk guy thought i stole his phone. He blew a .9 and i blew a .2 i wasnt drunk at alll.. He callled the german polezei and they arrested me without letting me give a story or anything and because im german in a foreign country they can do that! So i waited for te military police from my base to pick me up.. Told them what happen and all. Im not getting in trouble but i cant leave the country until i attend court which can be from this month to december.. If you ask my fellow teamates i did do what i promised & what i persued with salarys etc.. Yes i owe one person a little bit of money which will be taken care of this week or next but i hope that people keep the flaming for themselves.. I did what i was told and hopefullly my ego and shit talking stops just like the shit talking about me stops to. They believed in me so why shouldnt you? Yeah i talk shit and lied at first but now you guys know the truth and i think i deserve a little respect in the end. Reason why the team is done is because iseries we cant attend because i have to waitto go to court.. And fyx wants to do quals for ESWC & so does ruggah in denmark. For people that care i am putting together a new team full of some swedish top players and hopefully we can make it to the top and see how that goes :)

Well atleast you admitted that you paid the players to play with you. gl with your life and with your new team.

The german police have to obtain me until the military police come pick me up. Look it up in AR-160 its US Army rule.. Because were in a foreign country.. Rules are different from us living in the states. Im driving but i could have mixed it up. My faultz

Ive only seen 1 game from some of this players, xaims is pure crap and killdream was pretty bad aswell, aim i have no idea but fyx norx, specially fyx was pretty decent when he played for k1ck. Are they really that bad?
