fnatic sign ex-Epsilon
fnatic have announced that they have secured the services of the former Epsilon CS:GO team.
The Swedish team had been playing under the temporary name SY_b for the last couple of weeks after parting ways by Epsilon last month as the organisation plans to "venture into new territories".
The decision came as a huge surprise, considering that the team had recently finished in second place at DreamHack Summer.

With this move, fnatic will be hoping to finally make their mark in the international CS:GO scene, after their previous squad were a major letdown.
"We are proud to announce that we are now part of one of the greatest eSports organizations ever - Fnatic," Jonatan "devilwalk" Lundberg said.
"With this comes great responsibility to maintain the great reputation of Fnatic and it's history within the CS scene, which we plan to uphold.
"I feel a childhood dream is coming true, watching all the great teams in the past in the Fnatic organisation, and now being apart of it and it’s history going forward is something that's impossible to measure in how much it means to me.
"I would like to send some special shoutouts to our fans who have been instrumental throughout our success, thank you."
fnatic's Chief Gaming Officer, Patrik “cArn” Sättermon, also commented on the news, saying the following for fnatic.com:
"It is with excitement that we announce our return to Counter-Strike:Global Offensive by signing the Swedish team SY&b. This group of players has impressed us a lot recently with great performances at Dreamhack Summer and in the Swedish Championship.
"After having several prospective teams under our radar for the past month, we eventually came to the conclusion that the talent and passion in the players in SY&b will match our expectations and values perfectly.
"I am personally thrilled at the thought of working with a Swedish team again, and I will do my best to support the development of this team, and this includes taking a more active role in coaching the team at on-site events, starting at Dreamhack Romania in September.
"Without further ado I would like to welcome Devilwalk, jw, Flusha and Schneider to the Fnatic family, and also I’d like to wish Moddii a warm welcome back - third time’s a charm! Finally, many thanks to our sponsors and fans that are supporting us and taking part in the new era of Fnatic Counter-Strike."
The Swedish team's first event under the new organisation will be DreamHack Bucharest, which will take place at the city's Polyvalent Hall from September 14th to 15th.
