CS:GO update to help boost prizes?
According to Twitter, CS:GO's next update will allow community members to help build larger prize pools at competitive tournaments.
Less than a day after The International 3 has concluded in Bellevue, the csgo_dev account has published a tweet suggesting players can soon contribute to prize pools.
For the International Dota 2 tournaments Valve was selling an item called Compendium, of whose profits half were directly put into the prize pool of the multi-million dollar event.

It remains to be seen what the details will be for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but it seems clear this week's update will give the community more than just the long awaited silencer.
What do you think this week's update will bring? Will it help event organizers finally host a true major event in CS:GO? Let us know in the comments below.
