Pirates lose CS:GO team

Pirates e-Sports have confirmed that they have witnessed the departure of their CS:GO division.

After a disappointing experience with their international team, Pirates had announced only two weeks ago that hey had opted to bet on a local team boasting former k1ck duo Mário "Fyx" Rodrigues and Mário "n0rx" Pacheco.

With the ESWC qualifier just a few weeks away, the team decided to begin preparations for the event and together with the organisation looked at bootcamp options in the country.

Fyx's team looking for a new home

But only a few days later, the team have decided to go freelance following what they claim to be a number of unfulfilled promises from the organisation.

The team will stick together and are already looking for a new home ahead of the ESWC qualifier. All organisations interested in contacting the team can do so by e-mail at [email protected].

The former Pirates team consist of the following players:

everyone who has interest in csgo international scene should care, I'm not russian and even I would like to know what is happening about your teams, since I haven't heard about 1 who is strong international. We have k1ck, Pirates were the ones that I believed that with practice and time they could reach a similar level to k1ck, sad to know they will no long have someone backing them up, that will be very bad for them.

Two headlines in two weeks for a lineup that isn't more than a shadow of k1ck. I hope I'm wrong but I can't see them pulling any upsets, even at national level. Unfortunately regarding gaming, in Portugal where there is talent there aren't any conditions, it's a rigged scene.
