SteelSeries announce Siberia Elite

SteelSeries have announced a new headset in their Siberia line, called the Siberia Elite Gaming Headset.

With almost four years having passed since the second version of SteelSeries' Siberia headsets arrived on the market, the Copenhagen-based company has now announced the Siberia Elite.

SteelSeries Siberia Elite feature SteelSeries' next generation drivers, realistic 7.1 virtual surround sound, passive noise-isolating memory-foam cushions and a retractable mic system.

It also comes with a self-adjusting suspension and both volume and mic controls, as well as radiant illumination lights, all powered by the new SteelSeries Engine 3 drivers.

i have 2 pairs old Icemat siberia black (about 6years and only once had to change jack) and steelseries siberia red v1 (3years) and they still working. Dunno how u use them if u break like 1 in a year :o Those new look nice but why they don't release them without mic or with mic on another cable like in old ones i have. cause i want to use them not only in home for games and this mic look stupid.

I also don't know how they broke so fast.. Every single time the right side of the headset broke so i had only sound from 1 side, really sucks.. 1st one i got replaced for free though.

Can't take SteelSeries seriously after they put Na'Vi stickers in the ear/speakers of the Na'Vi headset. I've never laughed so much at a companies stupidity, whilst pulling bits of melted Na'Vi stickers out of my ears. Still, bar the subpar quality, their audio products are usually considerably cheaper than Sennheiser, and good enough in most scenarios. Doubt I'll buy these though, it's probably just a siberia v2 with a slightly different case

Senh 595 got it for 3 years now and still works good, plastic did brake a bit but bit of sealing tape and no problem. I remember having black siberia headphones that start to brake after 3 weeks. Headphones are one of these products that you can trust in good company name and senhaiser never faild me or my mates.
