n!faculty win MSI Beat it! qual #3

Third time's the charm for n!faculty as they clinched MSI Beat it! European Open qualifier #3 after failing to do that in the first two, defeating iNation in the final 2-0 (16-4 on de_mirage_ce and 16-13 on de_nuke_se).

Once again coming in as main favorites, DH Valencia champions n!faculty were to be challenged by another 63 teams who signed up and managed to check in earlier today.

The main contenders in addition to the Swedish team were Eternity Gaming, yesterday's runners-up Vikings and two time semi-finalists Clan-Mystik.

The up and coming n!faculty side strolled through their side of the bracket, while the other expected semi-finalists dropped off one by one, starting with Clan-Mystik in round of 32 losing to French-Belgian-Swiss mix EVG-SERV.

Vikings were outplayed by Swedish mix highgrade in the round of 16, while Eternity Gaming lost to Serbians iNation in the 1/4 final.

It was iNation who made it to the final in the end, as they also overcame Finnish side FR34KSHOW 16-11 in the semis. n!faculty were, however, not about to drop their third chance in these qualifiers, and they ran over iNation on the first map de_mirage_ce 16-4.

The second map proved to be much more interesting as the Serbs came back from a 2-9 CT-side deficit on de_nuke_se to eventually lead 13-11, but the Swedes won an eco round at that point and the next four rounds to secure a 2-0 victory.

Joining the previous two winners, Refuse and WE GOT GAME, n!faculty will take part in the MSI Beat it! EU Shootout on Saturday, where four teams will face off in two randomly drawn best-of-three clashes.
