apEX joins Clan-Mystik

Clan-Mystik have announced via their official website that they have picked up former LDLC.com member Dan "apEX" Madesclaire.

The French player has been without a team since the disbandment of LDLC earlier in the week following a drop in motivation and a series of disappointing results.

On Wednesday, Madesclaire linked up with Slovakian ace Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovác and Portuguese hot-shot Ricardo "fox" Pacheco in a mix team called ANBU for the MSI Beat It pre-qualifier, with many hoping that a new international top team was in the making.

However, the Prague Challenge winner has now put an end to all speculation about his future by agreeing to join Clan-Mystik, who recently finished runners-up to n!faculty at DreamHack Valencia.

apEX joins Clan-Mystik

Madesclaire will fill in for Benjamin "drizzer" Charnet, who has been given his marching orders, with Clan-Mystik providing no explanation for the move.

"I have been talking with HaRts about this for a long time, and I am happy to have finally joined Clan-Mystik," he said.

"I know the players on this team very well and I hope I will be able to bring in my playing style and my experience to help this team, who have a lot of potential.

"We will try to qualify for MSI Beat It Europe on Friday before starting preparations for the MJFV."

Mystik now have the following lineup:

GL I guess, but judging from what I've seen of Clan-Mystik in the past, apEX will be quite a bit above their level.

apex will make them stronger but imo he deserved better, gl though

Now you have apex in mystik, fxy0 and sixer in warmaker and happy teamless... They need to team up and beat nip because the scene is lacking top teams after vp and ww shut down! Same with denmark and germany.

If you say this you don't realise how strong KQLY has been playing online and on LAN aswell. This team has to the potential to reach LDLC levels with apEX. They already showed that they can really play this game, but ofcourse apEX is going to give them a massive boost; if the chemistry works.
