WARMAKER add kennyS, Maniac

WARMAKER have made a couple of high-profile additions to their team as Kenny "kennyS" Schrub and Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez have joined their ranks.

Earlier in the month, HLTV.org reported the creation of a new CS:GO team featuring four ex-players of 3DMAX plus Christophe "SIXER" Xia, one of the most prolif French 1.6 players.

Two weeks later, and without having played a single official match yet, WARMAKER have decided to fine-tune the squad a little bit and parted ways with ex-CS:Source trio Kévin "L0rdZz" Pascal, Robin "GMX" Stahmer and Joey "fxy0" Schlosser.

Replacing the trio are Kenny "kennyS" Schrub and Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez, both of whom had been without a team since the disbandment of LDLC.com, and coach Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni, who returns to activity after almost five months on the sidelines.

kennyS to attend the MFJV finals with WARMAKER

It is believed that this move is just a temporary solution for the Masters Français du Jeu Vidéo (MFJV) LAN finals, which will take place this weekend.

"Thanks to the disbandment of LDLC (which is an unfortunate news for the French scene, we were able to get a spot for the MFJV with a group of players that I really like," Flavigni told vakarm.net.

"We had initially approached apEX, but since he was contacted by Clan-Mystik, we asked kennyS, and after what was a true negotiation, he accepted the offer.

"It will be very interesting to see how we will do, we will go as a mix but with players like SIXER and kennyS, I have two-three ideas in my head to cause some surprises.

"Regarding the future, we have a project, but it will depend on our respective jobs."

WARMAKER will attend the MFJV finals with:

Kenny "kennyS" Schrub
Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez
Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavini

"Soon" is relative concept. In fact, lager part of events have not HLTV ip`s and then have not streams except official.

Absolut fucking shit There's no fucking way these guys can ever beat Nip or VG. Why dissolve a stable team (ldlc) which is capable of beating nip and make 2 average teams . It just doesn't make sense. The only player so far who retired from ldlc is sf. They could have easily found a replacement

when you build a team, you want them to beat the top 2 immediately ?

that will be tough team to make work (I know its probably just 1 event) sixer and kennys are both amazing snipers, but not much maps with room for 2 awps at the same time in CSGO at toplevel. and then there's oz ;D

Only person worthy of replacing Oz is someone like KRL... Oz might not be that amazing of a player, but he is smart and knows how to control a team, his teams always won. This roster has the perfect blend.

There are reasons why vg will never kick ex6 for example. vg would have never been the same team, and wouldn't probably win anything huge without him. What he offers is motivation, seriousness and professionalism. Ozstriker has been playing cs since the very beginning, has probably attended more lans than anyone in france, and is the one who brought players like sixer and maj3r into competitive cs at millenium in 2008. With oz they managed to challenge emulate which was obviously the best team in france. In 2009, IEM 3, oz couldn't attend, dafunk (at the time he was one of the best aimer in france, way better than oz) was the one to replace him, result ?They didn't win a single match. Just compare eml lineup skill wise, and millenium one. (I assume you know at least their former line up) emL had way more skilled players, yet, millenium could defeat them. Oz has a big experience of the game, is a great leader, and played a lot with sixer, mshz and j3r (as he will comeback to csgo), if they want to create something, they will call oz anyway. Btw this line up is only here to play MJVF

Fair points. I still don't find him essential for any team. A fresh, young player with tons of skill and motivation is almost always a better option than a washed out veteran who only plays for fun. Ex6TenZ is way ahead of Oz anyway, he was never anything spectacular. You can't really use that said match as comparison since it leaves a lot to chance, a series of matches between the two would've been a more fair one. "Btw this line up is only here to play MJVF" Thankfully so. I sincerely hope SIXER will find a decent composition worth his time.
