NiP at DH Summer 2013 movie out

A 16 minute CS:GO fragmovie named "NiP at DreamHack Summer 2013: Reborn" was just released, telling the story of Ninjas in Pyjamas' road to victory in their home country earlier this summer.

After around two months of work on the project, NiP's video producer Kevin "tweeday" Tweedale finished this movie which recaps the team's road to DreamHack Summer 2013 championship.

The Swedes weren't as convincing at this event as they have been in the past, as they could have been knocked out in the group stage had it not been for Richard "Xizt" Landström's iconic 1-on-3 defuse against Publiclir.se (now known as n!faculty).

The movie captures all of the best frags and most important moments of the Swedish giants at the event, including plenty of video footage from the venue. If you're interested, click play below to watch these 16 minutes and 19 seconds of action:

Great movie, though I miss the awesome four kills by GT against team_x when he was on A. That was just sick, but by far the best CSGO movie imo :) Even maybe one of the best movies through all time?!

Commentary is gay. Intro is 2 min, Outro is 1 min, the other half of the movie is camera work (usually of GTR being nerdy). Some clips missed Audio. W.e you were trying to do with the models was just silly. Other than that, good frags, some good effects, and I personally like frags compiled and sorted in order of games played. 6.5/10

Another CS movie where someone went mad with making effects. You actually can't see half the frags and the ones you see have made look worse with the effects. Good example is xizt's ninja defuse. I'm sure if you haven't seen that before you can't tell what the hell is going on on the video. This has to be worst video anyone could have done with this good material.

Meh. If anything, he should have edited the view of the 3 enemy players trying to rush up to him and shoot, while looking at xizt, making it a 4-split screen, as he defuses. The audio(commentary) in that part would be great either way.

Reminds me of SK - Believe, only that I find Believe bit more "epic", I guess. Still not bad at all, I appreciate all the little stuff, like sparkling fonts, wall sprayed with players names and such. Very well thought out. I don't know what it is, but it somehow doesn't have that epic (god I use that word awfully lot) feel like movies from 1.6. Gotta be the headshot animation. Commentary sounds a little bit monotone, though :) Edit: Figured it out. It's the music. What made SK - Believe so great, was the music changing. When they were losing to 3D, the depressive song by Apocalyptica made it feel really sad and grim. When SK were on the verge of turning the match around, music changed to (JP very own) Ayumi Hamasaki, which made it feel like all the more awesome. Fisker's clutch round with the song "I need a hero" fitted very nicely as well. Here, it is generic mixture of music not really expressing any emotions which the situation entails.

I dont mean to be "that guy" but i think there was a little to much editing, sometimes you should just let it be simple, there were times where i couldnt tell what the hell was going on haha despite that though at least if its gonna be edited a lot it was edited well. The effects did look pretty awesome, wasnt bad, thanks:)

Ok Tweeday, I really like your work, but the things you tried out with the models look really weird and out of place honestly. I have been a CS Movie fan and made a few of my own back in the day. Since like 2004 this has to one of the best movies I have seen. Stuff like Alive might come close ( youtube.com/watch?v=e2JR9LtAic0 ) But that movie is just out of this world, I got goosebumps watching a CS movie, don't think that has happened often. I've seen probably hundred of movies and this work is amazing, I know how hard those little effects are and the attention to details, is just out of this world Makes me sort of sad Tweeday wasn't making 1.6 movies :D

I just think you should know that this is the greatest movie ever made. I normally don't like the edits and movies that moviemakers make, but this is simply incredible. EVERYTHING fits together; the part where NiP made the comeback vs Publiclir gave me goosebumps. The music was amazing. Thank you.
