ESWC qualifiers kick off Tuesday

The two ESWC qualifiers hosted online by ESEA will kick off on Tuesday. Europe's first matches are set for 20:00 , while North America starts at 03:00 .

Winner of each qualifier will receive a berth into the sixteen team main Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, set to give out $25,000 in prizes in Paris in early November.

With many of the European nations not having their own respective qualifier, the ESWC qualifier held online by ESEA is once again, as it was in 2012, the only chance for many of the teams.

A total of 47 teams have completed the registration in Europe. NiP is already qualified and some countries also have their own qualifiers. Below are some of the most notable names who've signed up:

compLexity hasn't signed up for the North American qualifier as they already won a slot at ESEA Invite Season 14 Global Finals, but just about all the other American hopefuls are on the list.

Schedule for the qualifiers was already released a while ago and the qualifiers were postponed by a week to get more teams to sign up, but here's a reminder for those who missed it.

As you might have noticed, the European ESWC online qualifier collides with RC EMS One's weekly cups, so it is possible some teams may run into trouble with scheduling.
