ESWC removes Pakistan qualifier
The Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) organisers have removed the Pakistani qualifier from the event's official website.
Pakistan had for the last two months been featured on the list of countries that will organise a national qualifier for this year's ESWC finals, which will take place from October 30th to November 3rd at Porte de Versailles in Paris.
There had never been a mention of which company would organise the qualifier, but today the name of Pakistan was removed from the ESWC country list for CS:GO without any explanation.
This means that there is one more spot up for grabs in the male CS:GO tournament. It is still unclear whether there will be a national qualifier in a different country or if the spot will be handed via application.
