2007 is coming closer to it's end, once again we look back at a fantastic year for HLTV.org. What will 2008 bring?
2007 has without doubt been the best year for HLTV.org so far. No year so far has been so eventful for us, as 2007 was. 2007 brought many new changes, new features which we hope you all have enjoyed the same way as we have.
Breaking a record
July 2007. The month where ESWC finals and GameGune would take place. Many great teams, as all the other years, attend the event to seek the success and the gold medals. Polish PGSPokerStrategy and Danish NoA went to the most intense final ever, both on location and via HLTV. Even before the final started, more than 20.000 had found their way to HLTV. 5.000 people had found their way to the ESWC finals in Paris. 5.000 individuals cheering for both PGSPokerStrategy and NoA made the atmosphere amazing.
GameGune just a few weeks after ESWC and still many of the best international teams attended. ESWC champions PGSPokerStrategy shocked everyone when they failed to perform as they did at ESWC. fnatic once again made it to the final, this time against Made In Brazil.
The two events made July the best month in HLTV.org history.
2006 was without doubt a great year, but 2007 will beat the previous records by far.
HLTV.org was present at many events in 2007. 2008 will be a new year, with new events, new tasks and a lot more. During 2007 HLTV.org was present at following events.
What will 2008 bring?
2008 will without doubt bring HLTV.org a lot of new features, new users, new events and hopefully a lot more. 2007 has shown that Counter-Strike 1.6 simply will not die without a fight for it. It's been in the atmosphere for so long that Counter-Strike 1.6 would die, but we refuse to give up now, without a fight for it. Events continue pop up with amazing prize winnings.
2008 will be a new year for HLTV.org, we will without doubt not be letting any of our users down and any point. You have seen what we are capable to provide you with and we will continue in 2008 with even more, just watch out!
