asmo joins new ALTERNATE team

Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu has announced that he has linked up with ALTERNATE's new team.

The German player had been without a team since leaving 3DMAX earlier in the week after playing for the ex-/10/ squad for little over four months.

With the national ESWC qualifier around the corner, and with the team having finally found the support of a big organisation, leaving 3DMAX seemed like an odd thing to do, so many expected a big move to be on the horizon for the former n!faculty member.

After yet another disappointing season, ALTERNATE have undergone a major overhaul to their CS:GO lineup, parting ways with Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch and Christian "crisby" Schmitt, both of whom have already linked up with Team xXx.

Berberoglu will be taking one of those places, while Christian "Rak" Hermenau-Puhlvers, who quit ALTERNATE in May, will play for the team as a stand-in at the German ESWC qualifier.

"After long talks with Solek and fel1x, we finally managed to form a team, which is purely based on friendship," Berberoglu told 99damage.de.

"I think the motivation has increased considerably. and hopefully we will be able to show some good results soon.

"Our fifth is Rak, who will for now act as a stand-in. It is still uncertain who will get the last spot in the team, but we will think about that after the ESWC qualifier."
