dennis replaces maxAki in LGB

LGB eSports have announced that Dennis "dennis" Edman will be stepping into the shoes of Andreas "maxAki" Andersson.

The Swedish team had signed up for DreamHack Bucharest but ended up pulling out of the event just days before it was scheduled to start due to lacking the necessary funds to travel to the Romanian capital.

It was a heavy blow for the team, but they were able to quickly pick themselves up and show that they belong to the European elite, having reached the last-eight stage of the MSI Beat it! 2013 European Finals.

After confirming Olof "olofm" Kajbjer as a permanent member earlier in the month, LGB have now parted company with Andreas "maxAki" Andersson as they hope to take things to the next level.

Former SK Gaming ace now playing with LGB

Replacing him will be former SK Gaming member Dennis "dennis" Edman, who has only had a brief spell in Absolute Legends since switching to CS:GO.

"Basically for a time now the guys in the team have felt that maxaki does not have as much focus as the rest of us, so for some time now we've talked about it in the team," Mikail "eksem" Bill told HLTV.org.

"After our practice yesterday, maxaki, skytten and I talked about it and we made this decision.

"We picked up dennis because he showed a lot of interest in our team and because we are really good friends, so it was not a hard decision to bring him in.

"We would like to thank maxaki for a really good time together and it was a real pleasure to have played with such a good player. So much respect to youm maxaki."

dont think hes ever "dodged" a lan he was ment to attend. he played poorly in fnatic when he joined a week before, but what do you expect when ur fresh in a new team and under alot of pressure to perform

Wasn't Dennis just an stand-in for IEM for face for 2-3 months in SK until face got healthy? Thats how I recall it atleast.

What I remember is SK management wanted dennis and signed him up, gave him a trial period and then made him a fulltime member but the players really wanted a fulltime awper and so they eventually stole Delpan from fnatic.

Dennis is a sick player and one of my fav's. He played for SK and won many events on LAN and Online. When he joined SK he took up the role of Awper, later he got replaced for Delpan.
