Here's VeryGames' Nathan "NBK" Schmitt with a clutch round against k1ck in SLTV StarSeries VII as the French talent wins the round all by himself.

The French side continued their excellent run of form in StarSeries as they eased past k1ck, who have turned in a number of great displays lately, 16-4 on de_nuke_se.

In this round, VeryGames went on a save, yet Schmitt manages to win the round for his team, picking up an AK47 after killing the first opponent with his USP. He then takes down the remaining four players and defuses the bomb to cap off an excellent round.

Not to take any merit from NBK here, it's a massive round, but coachi should of just baited him in that position.

nbk 50/50 gambled what side he would come out. Coachi cld have a.) come out the other side lol, b.) risked waiting out the fake c.) quick straffed to draw it out. Prolly doing a quick strafe is the best option perhaps, but I think he must have got hit a few times from nbk's megaton spam, or coachi was low and didn't want to risk getting spam killed thru megaton? if coachi was high hp I would say quick strafe a lot, draw out the round, use any nades you have. If he was low hp, well eh, I think its completley up to him and I wouldn't pass judgment at coachi.

Question: Wasn't ducking smoothier in 1.6? I always think it's weird how quickly they duck/stand-up in CS:GO, but perhaps it was the same back then.

it was smoother,it s one of the characteristics in cs:go(being able to shoot and get up really fast to avoid being hsed)

he meant that he just should've peaked to see if nbk was looking towards the bomb or the ramp, and he was right, he shouldn't have tried to kill him but just to have the information.

well i just wanna fill in here, We're sweds and so on . I dont say that he is better then Kick and he havnt stated it either but imo he could've done that so much better and won the round. + Both the last 2 players failed hard

actually rmn (last man) didnt fail hard, i mean he heard the first defuse didnt move but since nbk didnt re-defuse/do any noise after like 5/6 sec he knowning vg were on eco(no defuse) he had to move to see if he was actually defusing + u didnt see his last comments about k1ck.

Well Most of the fail comes from the first 2 NBK kills. First of all the guy shouldnt have aggro him in the stairs. Would actually be better to have a crossfire on the site and also have one guy on ramp. Then like he said, he actually cornerpeaks too far out. Even tho stuff like these can be internet ( and i know we in sweden got alot better internet then rest of EU so.) <--- What i talk about here is the MS , if its lower you ofc can react quicker because pixels dont bugg.
