ALTERNATE qualify for ESWC female

ALTERNATE have qualified for the ESWC world finals in Paris following a 2-0 victory over n!faculty in the Grand Final of the German qualifier.

Held at the Evercore LAN in Leverkusen, the exact same event that also played host to the male ESWC qualifier, the female tournament attracted just three teams, ALTERNATE, n!faculty and Playing Ducks, who were thrown together in one single group.

ALTERNATE and n!faculty both defeated Playing Ducks during this best-of-one group stage, so they automatically progressed to the grand final, which was played in a best-of-three format.

Despite attending the event with Christina "angel.th" Hülzer as a stand-in for Melanie "beyoNd" Gutsche, ALTERNATE were always on the front foot as they defeated n!faculty on just two maps (16-10 on de_dust2_se, 16-1 on de_mirage_ce).
