f0rest Elected Best Swedish Player of 2007

The Swedish community site Fragbite held an election amongst its public to determine who are the nation's best Counter-Strike players, f0rest managed to finish in first position.

SpawN came second and walle managed to finish thirth, places 4 to 6 also went to SK-gaming which nearly makes their whole team represented within the top 6, quite impressing but not to suprising for a team that has built such a huge fanbase over the years.

Final rankings were as following, percentages after each name represent percentage of users that voted for that specific player as 'Best of Sweden':

2. SpawN (19 %)
3. walle (11 %)
4. allen (8 %)
5. GeT_RiGhT (6 %)
6. cArn / Tentpole (5 %)
8. dsn (4 %)

Congratulations to those who managed to end up in the list, we will do our best to get an interesting interview with some of the players in this list in the near future, if you have any suggestions on who to interview please drop a comment!

I hate this list. I really do. It has nothing to do with year 2007, imho. People just voted for their favourite players... Nothing unexpected for an internet pool, of course. Forest is a great player, but dsn really deserves to be placed higher than him, due to his performances this year. Tentpole did amazingly well for SK, I can't remember a game this year when he didn't pwn everything that moves. IMHO such votings should be held with an explanation WHY you vote for this or that player, then all "because I like him so much" should be dropped. Very funny to see GeT_RiGhT on fifth place, the guy didn't even play that much. This list belongs in garbage can...

Well, it's true that both dsn and Tentpole deserv that place, but the man that deservs it most, in my opinion, is walle, for the fantastic year in SK, and f0rest has done an incredible year, so don't say that he doesn't deserv it. There might be people who may deserv it more, but I don't think so. I voted for him, and if I got to vote for more that 1 player I would've voted for dsn, walle and f0rest. GeT_RiGhT should not be on that list, and SpawN shouldn't be as high as he is. Allen, cArn, Tentpole, dsn and RobbaN should've at least been in the top 5. The thing why I did not vote for walle, is the fact that he has only played with SK for 3 months or so, and f0rest has played awesomely the entire year.

f0rest best! if u don't accept that fact u should go and vote for another players over 14k ppl voted it's very objective! fnatic won everything! why? coz best players are inside the team *fact* imo Archi a bit low place maybe on of the best AK players in the world. About Tenpole yes he is good but not best player in .se and SpawN "Is Still Mighty" vs emulate he showed "who is da father!" face might be in top3 if he played in clan

i dont know what the fuck you guys are talking about. f0rest is definately better than anyone else on the list with the exception of spawn. why anyone would vote for someone besides forest or spawn is beyond me. i can go down the list and be like yeah forest and spawn are definately better than they are. it doesnt matter what year it is, they're better.

walle 3rd?!?! people must be on drugs, hes bad and imo should quit cs, hes not even good : / ive never ever seen him play good in his whole pro cs lifetime. walle shouldnt even be on that list. allen should be third tbh, hes an amazing player, hes had many 4/5 mans this year and is a great player overall. get_right is a very good player but shouldnt be ranked that high up considering he hasnt even played that often. tentpole and dsn should be ranked higher up. sure f0rest is good but i think abit of his votes will be his fan boys rather than actually voting because he played well, not saying that he didnt play well because he played very well.

you've never seen walle play good? it's kinda hard not to have seen him play good. You've never seen the videos of him aceing SK or PGS? you clearly mustn't follow CS much.

if you mean the ace against pgs at WCG on train, thats hardly a good ace. 2 players on half hp and one of them on about 1hp or something like that. and all the pgs players were in the same bombsite... walle only got that ace because he baited his team. and the ace against sk if you mean the one also on train on pistol round was not really special either, seeing as he killed 4 of the sk team who were busy killing other spixel players, the only decent kill was against heaton. obviously you have not been watching the good players. clue in before chatting out your arse again please. #34 walle has been an important and G_R_E_A_T ingame leader this year, and has lifted SK high. No doupt he _at least_ deservs 3rd. He has no time mad fraging, since he has to look after the entire team during gameplay.

I am fnatic fan so my opinion might be little biased :), but imho: 1. Forest 1st - ok :) 2. SpawN 2nd?? Not that good anymore, sorry - place around 5th 3. dsn and Archi should be higher - that's for sure

I voted for GeT_RiGht. He really stole the spotlight and showed amazing gaming IMO. BTW, allen, robban, Tent ovr spawN definatly agree on that. But giving f0rest the 1th place is fair I think. He is a giant.

The problem is with this list that is posted on fragbite that every kid vote on. I mean Tentpole have done so much more then everyone else on the list and cArn for a exampel. So.. But on the other hand the the kids over there dosen't like me either. Like that #1 and #4 ore something : )
