UniversalSoldiers sign ex-ESC

UniversalSoldiers have confirmed via their Facebook page that they have secured the services of the former ESC Gaming squad.

The Polish team's future had been up in the air for the last couple of months, with the Golden Five having decided to break up as Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski and Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski were both given their marching orders.

Since then, the team had been testing the waters and tried out several different players in online tournaments with hopes of finding the perfect formula.

A great news for all the fans of the Polish giants is that Jarosław "pasha" Jarząbkowski will remain in the team after it was rumoured that he could be stepping down from the active lineup.

pasha joins US together with TaZ and Neo

Joining up with the ex-ESC trio are former DELTA member Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelsk and ex-GF Gaming ace Paweł "byali" Bieliński, both of whom have been playing with the team in the last few weeks.

Along with the announcement of the two new players, Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas also revealed that the team will from now on don the colours of UniversalSoldiers, a Polish organisation with several years of experience in the Counter-Strike business.

"After representing ESC for so many times, it was time to go back to our roots," Wojtas said. "This will allow us to better reach out to our fans and viewers.

"Our new members are optimistic and I see a lot of potential in this team.

"Our first test will be the EMS One Finals in Cologne, where we will go for the first place. I cannot promise that we will win it, but any place outside the top three will be a disappointment.

"I hope that our cooperation with US will be fruitful and that both parties will be happy with the results.

"I would like to thank all those who kept trusting and supporting us. We will not disappoint you. We will create a lineup that will bring many successes."

No no, he calls himself Italian. Phoebe had a plan of what she wanted to do before she turns 30 or 31 (forgot which), which I think is a romantic kiss and a date with a Portuguese or something. Joey gave her a kiss and said "and I'm also 1/16th Portuguese" :). That's as far as I remember.

i think polish organization will be able to send them more often to bootcamps than esc, because they can even go there for 2/4 days without traveling a lot which is important for those that are still studying.... GL Golden three and snax and bialy ;D ^^

you think SK earned more? because PGS sure as hell didnt (g5 repped several different orgs, making sure fnatic as an org made way more money on their CS team winnings) I think fnatic could indeed be ahead of SK, remember how they won events on regular basis from 2006-2012 (with 2012 and 2009 them being invincible)

this team is good enough to be top3 remember that there are still people like neo, taz and pasha, if they put a little bit more hours in to the game they will be able to win the match on their own... if they will practice as much as they did few ages ago they can easily be top3... and trust me, they can do it, they are unstoppable, and i can say that because they didnt win anything in last year but they are still trying to be better....
