UBINITED recruit di^

UBINITED have announced that they have brought in Diane "di^" Tran for the upcoming ESWC world finals.

The North American side have been somewhat inactive since the last ESWC event, which they won over ALTERNATE, with the team being reduced to a four-woman lineup at the end of last year as Heather "sapphiRe" Mumm stepped down from the active lineup.

Sonia "Sonia" García, formerly of Reason Gaming, was initially joined brought in as a replacement, but the Spanish player's stint in UBINITED was short lived as some months later she was seen joining Druidz.

Will UBINITED defend their ESWC crown?

It has now been confirmed that the last place in the team will be filled by Diane "di^" Tran, a former CS:Source player who switched to CS:GO in January.

"When I first started playing with ubinited I was extremely nervous and excited to be playing with such veterans of the CS scene," Tran told UBINITED's website.

"I felt like I instantly had a connection with the team when I began playing with them. I feel very fortunate and lucky to have such an opportunity to join them to go to ESWC and try to win a title in France.

"I’m sure that this will be a life changing experience going to ESWC and competing against the top female teams."

UBINITED will attend the ESWC finals with:

United States Alice "ali" Lew
United States Jennifer "jso" So
United States Christine "potter" Chi
Canada Stephanie "missharvey" Harvey
United States Diane "di^" Tran

United States Heather "sapphiRe" Mumm (backup)

No it wasn't. If you mean better by a closer score line? Yes, in that sense it was better. But if you actually think 10 extremely average counterstrike players running around a map is entertaining, then you could probably go ahead and say spectating a matchmaking game is better than the ESWC final.

Maybe some MM game is in the end better. I presume we will have to wait and see this year's final.
