McDonald's to sponsor fb Masters

Fast Food chain McDonald's has been confirmed as one of the sponsors for the Fragbite Masters online league.

With less than two weeks to go before the first qualifier takes place, fragbite has secured the support of a major player: McDonald's, the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants.

The news comes just days after McDonald's announced that, for a week, everyone in Sweden could get their hands on a hamburger called McNiP as part of a campaign called My Burger in which contestants submitted their dream burger.

The Fragbite Masters will kick off on November 18th with 32 teams battling it out for the first prize of $10,800.

"McDonald's are very glad to have the opportunity to be a part of Fragbite Masters," said Kajsa Dahlberg, Head of Digital Engagement at McDonald's Sweden.

"Especially as many Fragbite visitors contributed in our campaign MyBurger. Gaming is a really huge sport that we are really looking forward to work with in the future."

It's been a lot of buzz about this since fragbite is built on CS-players. of course throughout the years dota, lol, wow and whatever else comes in to peoples interests but it's still a site with the slogan "A site about Counter-Strikes a little bit more...". The buzz about them abandoning CS and focusing on wrong stuff since Nyheter24 bought them up from the original owners and creators.

This is perfect for the scene, it's now mainstream. The pros laid everything on the line even with the bleak financial future. It's a waste of world class intelligence. These same guys can can be making millions if they had the same dedication in real life. It's about time cs is getting what they deserve especially the fact that they are playing strictly for the love of the game when there are bigger tourney pots in other games.
