VeryGames on top of Group A

VeryGames are the first to proceed to the semifinals after beating Copenhagen Wolves 16-4 on de_inferno.

VeryGames tried to push up mid agressively in the first pistol round as Counter-Terrorists, which backfired at them because of Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen's three kills from the second mid area.

The Frenchmen once again bought up as much as they could, which was P250s with armor as usual. Copenhagen Wolves faked A bombsite, although after running towards B, they met with three pistoleers defending, who swept the floor with the Danish lineup.

An eco plant helped Copenhagen Wolves buy guns in the following round, but despite the fact VeryGames were still on an anti-eco buy, they were able to completely shut down any chance of entry to the A bombsite.

ScreaM was once again instrumental for VeryGames

Two more slow A attacks were successful that time and with Rasmussen on the helm of a B bombsite push, Copenhagen Wolves were one round away from evening the score out.

That was not the case though, as Nathan "NBK" Schmitt could only afford a MAG-7, with which he was able to get the first frag in apartments and finished up with two more kills when the Danes tried to repair the situation by attacking A.

Another eco saw Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen opening up B bombsite with two glock headshots, followed up by two more M4A1-S kills. He was not able to win a one-versus-one against Schmitt in the end, which made the score 11-4 after Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom's action on banana.

Winning the pistol round almost secured VeryGames the whole match, which was only confirmed after Copenhagen Wolves' third round famas buy, which did not pan out in the end as VeryGames won 16-4.

VeryGames are through to the semi-finals, fnatic and n!faculty match is now set to begin, which will be followed by the victor's match versus Copenhagen Wolves for the second spot.

Dissapointing match but i think it was kinda expected, great game from VeryGames and they are pretty unstoppable now..Well played VG!

On the other hand when you're dealing with scream, shox and nbk & smtihzz on fire, i guess it's kinda hard to grab some kill XD They literally clean up all the map while ex6 was still buying his weapons ^^' !

my point is there is no excuse if he plays bad, he stepped it up lately and thats why they have been winning tournaments if he keeps playing bad then they will lose.

If ex6 is calling starts that allow his fraggers to get frags, why does he need to get kills? Him going even in the match just shows that he can carry his own weight fragwise

His team won 16-4, give him a break. Stats in those kind of matches don't mean anything. He has the same amount of deaths as his teammates, he just wasn't playing greedy.

CHW is not a bad team at all, but their old line-up back in the WesternWolves days was way stronger. Congratz to VG, they were able to show strength after "fnatic scare" :D.

people still think cs is only about kills ?To get the kills you need good strats, cph didn't lose because friis had 3-18, the score just shows that cph didn't have decent strats vs vg

Kills win games its a simple fact dude, just like in football goals win games, how else do you win them? Ofc you need strats but without kills you may have the best strats ever and you will still lose, thats why VG has been winning lately because of shox+scream's fragging power and ex6 stepping up helped too, when ex6 played bad shox+scream kills still werent enough.

Yeah you need those but if you are a shit player you still wont score even 1on1 with a keeper same applies in csgo if you are a bad player you wont get kills no matter how good the position
