fnatic send n!faculty packing

fnatic have knocked n!faculty out of RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 Finals and will take on Copenhagen Wolves tomorrow at 12:00 for a spot in the semi-finals.

Both fnatic and n!faculty faced elimination after losing their opening games against VeryGames and Copenhagen Wolves, but the fully Swedish team prevailed this time on de_inferno.

n!faculty had a rough start despite Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's one-on-three heroics on the knife round as they quickly found themselves trailing fnaitc 0-5 as counter-terrorists.

Markus "pronax" Wallsten and Christian "Spitfire" Schiölde shut down fnatic in B for their first round, and quickly got into the game as Wallsten scored an additional four kills on the following round.

New in-game leader Devilwalk led fnatic past n!faculty

Alexander "rdl" Redl put up three frags and an assist to tie the game at five, and a triple versus a saving fnatic squad by Wallsten put his side up 7-5 with seven straight round wins.

fnatic's next B hit was successful as Andreas "schneider" Lindberg picked up two headshots, but Wallsten and Schiölde mowed down fnatic on the next round once again, helping n! win nine of the ten last rounds in the first half.

Andreas "MODDII" Fridh's side went for an aggressive middle push on the pistol round and tied the game at nine. Next four rounds were traded with Redl, Finn "karrigan "Andersen helping n! win two save rounds.

From 12-12 on it was all black and orange though, as the Swedes cruised to four straight round wins and a 16-12 victory to stay alive at RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 Finals.

What? Devilwalk wasn't the gameleader before? I always thought he was because he underperformed every match.

I'm confused. In the interview after the game Moddi said he made a call to buy.. at 12 - 12 or something. So I think he's IGL again.. not sure,

He can still make a call, even though he is not the in-game leader.

it should bro. many times it's a lot of pressure on the guy who is igl, especially after 2-3 bad calls. even in mid-match, some players would call play and it's on igl to say yes or no.

So how does being the igl for an unknown team make you qualified to say what's going on in fnatic during freezetime?

im not saying that i know what's going on in fnatic's freezetime.. but i'm just stating that if someone is IGL he should make the decision whether to buy or not and no one other should talk during freezetime

if you dont know what is going on while fnatic plays then you shouldnt make assumptions. while the-no-talking-during-freezetime-except-for-the-igl rule might be true for your team. that doesnt mean its true for fnatic, or any other pro team.

It all boils down to the leadership of the igl, which in fnatic i would guess is kinda loose.
