iBUYPOWER pick up ex-Curse

The former Curse Counter-Strike: Global Offensive squad has been picked up by Team iBUYPOWER, a new eSports organization set up by the computer manufacturer.

The Americans had been without an organization and tagged as AnnouncementSoon, a name that started rumours about EG possibly returning to Counter-Strike after their tweet, since their exit from Denial eSports.

Now the squad, who recruited former Quantic Gaming in-game leader Sam "DaZeD" Marine after they were dropped by Curse a month ago, have been picked up by iBUYPOWER.

DaZeD's team becomes sponsored by iBUYPOWER

iBUYPOWER is a computer manufacturer whose eSports sponsorships coordinator is former Gravitas, Turmoil and x3o player Derrick "impulsivE" Truong, who now jump into CS:GO.

The squad failed to qualify for both ESWC and MSI Beat it! due to being in the middle of finalizing their roster during both qualifiers. They currently compete in ESEA Invite Season 15.

According to a quick interview with Truong on ESEA News, you can expect to see iBUYPOWER at international events later this year, which suggests the Americans might be traveling to DreamHack Winter next month.
