NiP come back to beat Cph Wolves

NiP have pulled through a tough series against Copenhagen Wolves 2-1 (14-16 de_dust2, 16-6 de_nuke, 16-6 de_inferno) despite dropping a 13-1 lead in the opening map.

Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund's triple won NiP the terrorist pistol round on de_dust2, and a double by Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson made it 4-0 after two save round wins.

The Swedes ran out of time on the sixth round, but Adam "friberg" Friberg's entry kill helped break Copenhagen Wolves' money and force them on a weak buy which made it 7-1 after Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg's triple.

Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen saved his gun on the next round, but Lindberg won a key one-on-two to keep pushing the Wolves aside while NiP continued building up their lead to 9-1.

Even Michael "Friis" Jørgensen's quad kill wasn't enough to win a round, as it took all the way until a 1-13 deficit and for Jacob "Pimp" Winneche to get three AWP kills in B to win the Danes a round.

Pimp's AWP got the Danes their second round as CTs

The Danes had a mountain to climb in the second half, but a double from Winneche helped make it 5-13, even though NiP came within seconds of winning the first save round.

A double from Johansson gave NiP their fourteenth round, but even a triple from him wasn't enough to win another round, as Copenhagen Wolves struck back and made it 6-14.

NiP still had money to buy once but couldn't stop the Danes. Winneche's two kills at long gave Cph their ninth round, and a solid team effort got them into double digits next.

The Wolves ran a mid-to-B split to get their eleventh round as Richard "Xizt" Landström saved his weapon, and a double from Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth got the Danes within two.

NiP lost round twenty-seven as well, and a hat trick from Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen tied the game. Rasmussen and Højsleth got them entry into B as Johansson teamkilled Alesund, giving the Wolves map point.

GeT_RiGhT topping the stats on de_dust2 wasn't enough to win

Possibly the most impressive comeback in CS:GO history was completed as Copenhagen Wolves finished their 14-1 terrorist isde on de_dust2 with Jørgensen's AWP kill for a 16-14 win.

NiP started their comeback with Lindberg's four kill at ramp as a defender on de_nuke, and the Swedes racked up four rounds before Christensen could secure a one-on-one win in the upper site.

After Højsleth's one-on-three proved unsuccessful, Copenhagen Wolves had nothing going for them in the rest of the half despite trying a variety of attacks, as the Swedish defense shut them out.

With Lindberg and Alesund leading the way, NiP built up a wall and hardly even let the Danes come within striking range as they won ten staright rounds, matching the Wolves' previous half's 14-1 effort.

Copenhagen Wolves tried to come back once more, and they locked down a 2-0 lead by winning their counter-terrorist pistol round. NiP tried a force buy on the third round, but were shut down.

NiP go through to the grand final

The Swedes went down 0-5 before doubles from Alesund and Friberg finally gave NiP their opening round of the half, which they followed up with a second round win to tie the series at 1-1 with a 16-6 win.

Alesund started de_inferno with a bang as well, winning an extremely important one-on-three against three Copenhagen Wolves members and a planted bomb in the A bombsite.

The Wolves' third round buy was shut down, and two kills from both Friberg and Landström gave NiP a 5-0 lead early on, which they would follow with another five rounds before the Danes could reply.

Trailing 10-2 and the match seemingly all but over, Copenhagen Wolves were once again elimited by Lindberg, who led NiP in scoring as the Swedes rolled over the challengers 13-2.

A terrorist side pistol round win gave NiP game point at 15-2 as the Danes saved once. They improved the score to 6-15, but doubles from Alesund and Friberg ended the series at 16-6 and 2-1 overall.

fnatic and AD haven't gotten very far. They both have managed to beat NiP once but in their current state they won't accomplish anything. I really hope US and Na`Vi can do even better, they have so much potential.

Yeah, made for some pretty boring games except for the one comeback. I wanted NiP to win but the games turned out to be really boring because they always had the advantage.

well, I think we can all agree that knife rounds are a bit random and aren't 100% skill based.

Yeah, because making a comeback from 13-2 to 16-14 is lucky. So many retards at HLTV.

I'm pretty sure if Wolves started on a good side, they would've won it already.Shame, they proved that they were the better team today but somehow NiP managed to start on the 3 fav. sides and win.

Better team today? 13-2 13-2 12-3 NiP strong defence or CPH weak strats? CPH still don't have any chance against NiP or VG.

Friis is good, but Fetish makes him play the stupidest roles. He just carries the bomb and watches flank like every round.
