Cursive unveil new CS:GO team

Team Cursive have announced that hey have decided to venture into CS:GO one more time by signing a newly-built Finnish roster.

Cursive have had a number of CS:GO teams in the last six months or so, but inactivity and lack of stability always ended up causing those projects to fall apart.

After previously housing the former myDGB.net and RAIDERS team, Cursive have once again decided to bet on Finnish talent and recruited a team that centers around Slaava "Twista" Räsänen.

Joining the former CMAX.gg member are four ex-members of the Finnish Royalty team, who were supported by ROCCAT: Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola, Olli "kononen" Salmi, Christer "nashje" Loukas and Tom "stonde" Glad.

"After "team solemn" project did not go as planned, I thought retiring would be the next thing ahead," Veikkola said.

"But like Teemu Selänne, ONE MORE YEAR he said in 2010 or something. Twista had been in talks with kononen and nashje after solemn folded, and they were willing to give CS another shot.

"So here we are again, Finnish Royalty is back with a slightly modified lineup. Our team consists of players with backgrounds in teams such as CMAX.gg, Team Logitech, Anexis, CKRAS, apeX and ROCCAT. "

Cursive's first offline event will be LANTrek, which will take place from January 10th to 12th in Tampere.

This team but: -Twista +angeldust was one of VG's rivals when they played under CKRAS in Source.. Definitely potential.

Fucking hell that looks like a strong lineup. I don't know how the 4 CS:S players are performing in GO, but I really hope they can shine. We're all extremely strong in CS:S, and with a player like Twista added to the mix, this looks promising! Hope they can stay together for a long time and work on it, would love to see Finland back on the map in CS:GO.

kononen played @ cpl winter 2005 as remember right in 1.6 with lurppis tonppa and kuppi, and nashje played 1.6 in semipro finnish scene in past

atleast their players have some history of sticking together for longer than 1 tournament unlike the other finnish cs:go lineups thus far... this lineup needs time though.

yeah Finland is shit on cs:go atm but what international final has a british team reached during the past year or so? :O well I know 1 finnish team has done so.

Funny how this comes from a guy with a british flag :D And no, i'm not trying to start a flamewar either :) Seriously then, we've played 3 years together with nashje and kononen(they've been playing together from 1.6 days, like 5-6 years I think), and I cant recall any british CS team which has done the same. I dont know if you're a troll or just wanting to act like a guy who gets invited to all the parties, but thats the way it is.
