$3,000 more for ESEC finals

E-Frag.net has announced that the LAN finals of the European Championship will feature a prize purse in excess of $3,000.

Last month, E-Frag.net revealed that the grand final of ESEC 2013 would be played on LAN in Belgrade, Serbia, on December 17th, with only hardware prizes worth approximately €2,500 up for grabs.

It has now been reavealed that an additional $3,000 have been added to the prize purse after ASRock decided to step in as partner of the tournament.

Both finalists will have their expenses covered by the event organisation, so the chance to actually make some money will certainly make things more interesting for all the teams competing.

ESEC 2013 Finals prize distribution:

1. $2,000 + 5x CM Storm Mech, 5x CM Storm Reaper, 5x CM Storm Pulse
2. $1,000 + 5x CM Storm Quick Fire TK, 5x CM Storm Recon, 5x CM Storm Ceres-400

I don't know why the organizers even bother making a LAN for this. They should just keep it online and add the money they would spend on sending the teams to the LAN to the prize pool. Whatever....

Sweeden got at least 20 good players...they will make a bet,who don't reach the SveCup Finals , they will go to Belgrade to bring the title home,easy.
