All-Star match lineups determined

The lineups for tomorrow's All-Star match have been decided, and the teams have been picked by the newly appointed captains – Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen and Duncan "Thorin" Shields.

A couple of days ago SteelSeries announced that an All-Star match will be held at DreamHack Winter on Saturday at 11:30 .

After all four semi-finalists were determined, the ten players that won't be taking part in the main tournament tomorrow were put up for a draft by the two selected captains.

A coin was flipped to determine who will pick first, and after that they took turns. Here is what the lineups will look like:

The match is scheduled to start at 11:30 and will be played in best-of-one mode. The players are expected to arrive at the venue no later than 11:00 .

In case one of the players is unable to play, iBUYPOWER's Sam "DaZeD" Marine is next on the list and will be the replacement if needed.

Please read the article in its entirety before making unintelligent comments. In the case you had read the last paragraph, it's because the other players (e.g. from VG, NiP, etc.) are still in the tourney and won't play in the all-star match.

You sounded like you had no idea why people were saying +DaZeD. "In case one of the players is unable to play, iBUYPOWER's Sam "DaZeD" Marine is next on the list and will be the replacement if needed." Not that many people actually voted for DaZeD (17% did) but every other player with more votes (which is why I used VG/NiP players as an example) are either already in the all-star lineup or are in the tournament.

Because any time he has played against Euro's, he has performed. When his team, Area 51, placed third @ ESWC, he was one of their most consistent fraggers. And on-top of being IGL for most of his teams, he shouldn't frag as well as he does. He is just an all round good player with great aim and game sense.

The guy who led his team to a finish that can only be described as a complete disappointment at the largest event ever? I'm not saying he's a bad player, but skadoodle is definitely more of an allstar player.

Don't follow US scene religiously, but I would say skadoodle is far too inconsistent to be considered better than DaZeD, Hiko and semphis are definitely on his level if not better though.

i think it is a nice idea but it is also stupid cause a few of the worlds best players are not participating and that makes this showmatch less interesting. Everybody wants to see how shox or f0rest are making hattricks. Or Scream making headshots by tapping. GTR outminding everyone. And this in a showmatch. But thats my opinion They were supposed to held this match at the very beginning of the tournament to kick-off DH Winter 2013
