fnatic pull out of Svecup Grand Finals

fnatic have been forced to skip the Svecup Grand Finals 2013 tomorrow, according to fragbite.se.

The DreamHack Winter champions were due to tackle LGB eSports in the semi-finals of this four-team tournament, which will take place on Saturday inside Gothenburg's Exhibition Centre.

However, due to personal problems with one of their players, fnatic have decided against attending the event as they did not want to call in a stand-in.

fnatic will be replaced in the tournament by WRTT, who will attend the event with the following players:

Jerry "xelos" Råberg
Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi
Daniel "rape" Börzsönyi
Danniél "dalito" Morales
Joel "emilio" Mako

why is this the first we are hearing about a $20k first prize lan? were there qualifiers? also...looks like it could be a good weekend for NIP, 70k SEK then €16,620 in two days isnt bad.

yeah there was qualifiers and four teams which won had the opportunity to fly down and play the tournament, swedish scene op.

No, they thought they cheated and took all 5 demos, didn't find any cheat in the demos and disqualified them because of the .txt in JW's stream, which was a joke.

Yes, but everyone really though jw and co cheated back then, so they didn't count it as a loss.

no, their 87-0 streak was only LAN matches, they lost a couple (like 3-4 maps) during that time online, and they lost vs wrtt online

Danniél Morales is in no way a traditional Swedish name, neither has Sweden an old Iberian descended minority, so it's not weird of him to simple ask out of curiosity. Finns have immigrated to Sweden for centuries, though especially during WWII and the 50's and 60's. That's hardly comparable.
