Valve working on cbble, Overpass
Valve has announced that it is currently working on an improved version of de_cbble and on a new map called de_overpass.
Despite being largely overlooked in competitive tournaments in recent years due to its imbalanced nature, de_cbble is still very much liked by the community, who have long asked for the map to be ported to CS:GO.
To appease the fans, Valve have now announced a re-boot of the classic de_cbble, albeit with some changes to the map, in a bid to make it more suitable for competitive gaming.

Some ceilings on the map have now been removed, allowing players to throw grenades over the walls, a new stairwell that connects the Long A to the underpass has been created and more entry points have been added to the B bombsite.
"de_cbble is now more fluid, offering additional tactical choices in specific situations where the old map had none", Valve writes.
This is not the only map that Valve has in the pipeline, however, as they are also working on a brand new map called de_overpass, which draws inspiration from the recent updates to de_mirage.
This map seems to have two very open bombsites, one in a canal and the other in a public park, as you can see below:

It is still unclear when these two maps will be released, so stay tuned to HLTV.org.
