GamePub replace Mystik at SLTV

Clan-Mystik were forced to pull out of SLTV StarSeries VIII Finals, and their replacement will be Serbian squad GamePub.

Clan-Mystik's star AWPer Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian had emergency surgery last week, which caused him to miss out on Fragbite Masters and EPS France finals, and as he is not allowed to fly in the near future, it will also cause Clan-Mystik to skip the LAN Finals of SLTV StarSeries VIII.

GamePub will replace Clan-Mystik in Ukraine

To replace them, the organizers of the event had to dig deep in their table as none of mousesports, k1ck, ALTERNATE or 3DMAX were able to come, so they offered the slot to Serbian team formerly known as iNation who came 10th in the online league.

It was only yesterday that the Serbs announced that they will be representing a new organization called GamePub, and today they accepted the chance to play at the LAN Finals in Kiev, Ukraine.

GamePub's lineup at SLTV StarSeries VIII Finals will be:

Luka "emi" Vuković
Nemanja "k1Ng0r" Bošković
Nikola "NiKolinho" Kovač
Nestor "1NTEL" Tanić
Anel "NENO" Ceković

This will also change the pairs for the upper bracket semi-finals, as Natus Vincere will take Clan-Mystik's seed, so they will meet Universal Soldiers, while GamePub will take on Astana Dragons in the opening match on Friday, December 20th at 14:00 .

This is quite bad for the tournament, guess they need a bigger prize pool to keep up the quality and not seeing these drop-outs. It's not the first time teams drop out from the SLTV StarSeries finals.
