Na´Vi edge GamePub to final

Natus Vincere will meet AGAiN in the grand final of SLTV StarSeries VIII Finals after leaving GamePub behind on two maps (16-10 de_mirage, 16-14 de_inferno).

de_mirage started off with GamePub on the Counter-Terrorists side, but despite Luka "emi" Vuković flanking Na´Vi in the first round, he was not able to get more than one kill which helped the CIS-based team back off and take the round.

Another unlucky situation for the Balkan side happened in the round afterwards, as they managed to get four P250 kills on mid for three deaths on their part, but Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko replied with a one-versus-two after he died and the bomb went off.

In most of the five following rounds, Nemanja "k1ng0r" Bošković got two to three kills each time, which helped GamePub even things out at 4-4. Then Denis "seized" Kostin managed to win a one-versus-two while flanking the Balkan team.

Bošković and Nikola "NiKolinho" Kovač kept putting up numbers and before switching to Terrorists they were able to get a 9-6 lead.

After that, it was more or less on Na´Vi's side. Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács made his entry in the second pistol round with three kills despite taking the bait after a B fake and Teslenko got six frags in the first two gunrounds for 9-12.

GamePub couldn't manage to get back into the match, as they only got one round, where Kostin was close to winning a one-versus-three, but the rest of the rounds saw Kovács and Teslenko on a double-sniper setup with an AWP and a SCAR-20, which rocketed the team to a 16-10 win.

Coming to de_inferno, Kovač and his team were on the more favorable side and they rocketed to a big lead thanks to the pistol round from the man himself, as he got three quick headshots against a B rush.

Only Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev's three kills on the A bombsite in the first gunround made any kind of entry into GamePub's defense, as Kovač once again performed in a one-versus-two and from there, it was all on their side up until it was 10-1.

Then Sukhariev and Kovács combined for five kills and a two-versus-two, which helped Na´Vi get their second round. The third came to their hands just two rounds after, when they were on an eco, but managed to get to a one-versus-one situation, which Sergey "starix" Ischuk won.

It seemed like the new Na´Vi lineup would get a fourth round as well, if it wasn't for Anel "NENO" Ceković and his three AWP frags in a two-versus-three.

At 12-6 for Na´Vi, Teslenko managed to get two rounds in a row for his team almost all on his own, as he got seven frags for eventually a 12-10 scoreline.

GamePub finally won their first round as Terrorists as they got into the A bombsite for 13-10, but it was too little too late as Sukhariev and Teslenko kept locking the same site down for 13-13.

Kovács then died first in the mid area, which helped GamePub plant and win the following round, but the same man made up for it in the following round as he won a three-versus-three for his team. Kostin was the man to finish off the last two rounds, as he and Ischuk won an unlikely two-versus-three, and even more unlikely one-versus-three in the final round for 16-14 and the spot in the grand final.

The grand final between AGAiN and Natus Vincere is scheduled to start at 19:00 and it will be in a best-of-five with AGAiN up one map after coming from the winners bracket.
