ESEA Finals schedule released

ESEA has revealed the detailed schedule of the upcoming season finals in Dallas.

From Friday to Sunday, six teams (Titan plus five North American sides) will go head-to-head in Dallas to determine which of them will succeed Ninjas in Pyjamas as ESEA champions.

Prior to the main tournament, however, there will be an All-Star Game between the players who will be at the event. There will be two captains, one from Titan (the only European team in attendance) and one from compLexity (the top seed from North America).

The captains will then pick the other players through a draft-style system, with the only criterion being that they cannot choose their own team-mates.

Traditionally, the winning region of this All-Star game would get the better seeds, but this time around Titan and coL will lock horns on an aim-map match that will not be streamed to find out who gets the #1 seed.

I think U5 will surprise. They've been practicing a lot, and they had to beat iBP and coL in their league matches to make it to LAN.

IBP's should be interesting. As someone who has watched many of their matches, it was really obvious that they were playing way below the level they're capable of at DHW. If they can manage to actually get their shit together on LAN the team could give any team a run for their money, but who the hell knows if they'll actually get it together.

This whole NA vs. Europe thing is hilarious. The only teams that give Americans problems are Swedish\French teams, which is generally the case for all the other European teams. Stop piggybacking on the success of Sweden\France.
