Virtus.pro to EMS One semi-final

Virtus.pro have defeated LDLC.com easily 2-0 (16-3 de_mirage, 16-9 de_inferno) to advance to the semi-finals of EMS One Katowice.

Virtus.pro started their quarter-final versus LDLC off with a pistol round win to go up 3-0 as terrorists on de_mirage. A triple by Jarosław "pasha" Jarząbkowski and a one-on-one by Paweł "byali" Bieliński got them up 5-0.

Another one-on-one, this time a clever bombsite switch by Jarząbkowski extended Virtus' lead to 6-0, and three quick bombsite A attacks ran over LDLC's defense to make it 9-0.

Another save made it 0-10, and Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian was forced to save his AWP as Virtus.pro made it 11-0. The Polish side kept overpowering LDLC individually.

First Bieliński got three kills in a two-on-four, including a one-on-two to let the bomb explode, and then Filip "Neo" Kubski won a one-on-two, followed up by Janusz "snax" Pogorzelski's one-on-one win.

Virtus.pro are doing well in front of their home crowd

One more successful bombsite A hit cleaned the half at 15-0 for Virtus.pro, while their only opponent to even score frags into double figures was Vincent "Happy" Cervoni.

A triple kill in the B bombsite on the terrorist pistol round by Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez kept LDLC alive, and Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's multi-kill effort kept them from losing a save round.

However, at 3-15 the French could not hold on any longer as Pogorzelski's one-on-one win from the window room area closed out a 1-0 lead in the series for Virtus.pro.

Pogorzelski opened up de_inferno with two kills in B on the pistol round, and two kills by him, combined with three by Bieliński allowed them to win a two-on-two in the end to go up 4-0.

So far TaZ's team is living up to his wishes

LDLC won a save round next, but the hometeam regained control with Jarząbkowski and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas splitting the pot. Kubski's double sealed Virtus' flawless round next, forcing LDLC on a save.

Another pair of two kills each by Jarząbkowski and Bieliński forced the French to save once more, then trailing 1-9. Virtus.pro's risky middle push didn't pay off, as Madesclaire and Tovmassian won LDLC their second round.

Quiquerez scored three kills in B on the next round, but Bieliński spammed him planting on the final second, forcing LDLC on another save and leading to the eventual 13-2 half time score.

LDLC put up a valiant effort in the second half, but it wasn't enough. They won the pistol, but then lost round two. Down 3-14, they were able to win six straight rounds, but ultimately Virtus.pro prevailed 16-9, 2-0 overall.

The performance of VP is 2 good... byali, pasha ~ insane constantly snax, neo ~ clutch masters (snax specially hungry killer eating enemy player in one bite) taz ~ :( till now he has not been in highlight in this tournament... pls taz just step up a little bit and your team will be in final... I know that now neo is igl but seeing from taz game i think that earlier taz was playing as a primary mad fragger but now he is just doing supporting role and last man type role... what is it actually?
