CS:GO gets a big discount

Valve is celebrating yet another major esports event with deep discounts on CS:GO until Sunday.

EMS One Katowice is already reaching its latter stages, with part of the tournament's $250,000 prize purse having been funded by Valve through the Arms Deal system.

This is without a doubt one of the most exciting events in the history of CS:GO, with state-of-the art conditions and pretty much every world-class team out there in attendance.

To celebrate the occasion, the price on CS:GO on Steam's store has been reduced by up to 82 percent, which means you can purchase the game for as little as €1,99 in some regions.

Make haste, though, for this special discount will end on Sunday at 17:00 .

yep played 3 games today, half of the people were with bronze medals clearly new accounts with 0 name used and private profiles, most of them were awping better than KennyS sooooo yeah... dont even play mm this month if you want to save your nerves.

Valve should add "games played" and "account age" factors in skill algorithm. This would solve everything. Valve will still collect the tax of stupidity from cheaters, while proven players would still enjoy the game.

well i started cs:go 3 or 4 weeks ago and because of that ive been called a cheater more than 1 time. Ive played quake since 98 and some cs when it first came out. because of the quake background i slighty look at the ground when i move and i'm able to adjust my crosshair up 'fast' when i see an opponent, that style combined with NO knowledge whatsoever (so they say) of how the game should be played, made me 'a clear cheater' =)
