Colin "Brute" Volrath has posted new screenshots about his CS:GO port of de_tuscan.

Back in February, Volrath, the original creator of de_tuscan for both 1.6 and CS:Source, stated in an interview that his CS:GO port of the highly-famous map would be released sometime in March.

Last night, Volrath released a batch of screenshots of de_tuscan, which is still in a beta stage, highlighting bombsite A, CT spawn, kitty ramp, storage area 1, the first sewer area and the middle section.

In the comment section on his Facebook page, he confirmed that he still plans to release the map to the public before the end of the month. Below you can find some of the latest screenshots:

Toscan is much cleaner and less FOG. I can already see that awful smoke all over the place. I like these shots, but there is already better version out there. Sad but true.

Yeah, thats what Im worried the most. Clutter, fog, super detailed textures and all that extra to kill the fps and provide hindrance to visibility.

with volvo greedy logic you have to buy coin, after 2-6 months you can "vote" which map you want to the basic map pool and you will be able to play it free without a friend who is owning that type of coin. Greedy coin #94328428348.

depending on the person playing the game. i find banana useful as it is. it rewards both fast and slow gameplay. and makes actually inferno more balanced as it doesnt give ct was to much space to work on their nades and stuff

and vice versa, and everyone always checks to their right when coming into the bombsite (at least i always did) for CT's so what does it really matter? it's a minor thing in the map right now if it's really a big issue the windows can be easily removed.

looks pretty nice, the colors especially imo. only thing I would criticise is there's too many boxes. they just look so dull. I dont like cars and random shit thats bad for gameplay, but really is boxes the only thing you can fill the map with. the dude has been making this map for ages you would think he'd been a bit more creative.

sometimes the classic crate still makes sense. also i didn't want to junk up bombsite a which is pretty identifiable to everyone including boosting on the boxes. i may come back around near the end to flavor it up with less boxes, but we'll see.

The allocation of crates at bombsite A is perfect as the 1.6/css version and should not be changed anymore. Maybe he said that you can use other objects instead these oldschool boxes, which wont affect the amazing gameplay of tuscan but also improve the visibility.

just replace some of them. its possible to change crates to something else without "junking it up". with a container, that garbage thing at t spawn of train, balcony area or maybe a shed. I really hope the final version wont be just crates.

Just something to point out on the bombsite. The A logo isn't very realistic when placed on grass. Put stone in this rea or something. I mean who would paint dirt?
