FlipiN joins Wizards

Team Wizards have announced that they have brought in Antonio "FlipiN" Rivas from ASES.

The Spanish EPS champions have been under the spotlight in recent weeks after winning ESEA Intermediate, a campaign that earned them a spot in the upcoming ESEA Invite league.

After rumours emerged that Wizards would be taking Carlos "xhiroz" Puente, one of the most accomplished players in the Spanish Counter-Strike scene, out of retirement, the team announced that they have snared Antonio "FlipiN" Rivas, who reunites with Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent after the duo played together in x6tence.

FlipiN switches to Wizards

The Spanish veteran will be stepping into the shoes of Arturo "sukitRon" Gil, who wrote on his Facebook page that he did not agree with his team-mates on a number of things and that this situation led to his departure.

"Life surprises you every day, many people wanted to see me retire and very few trusted me," Antonio "FlipiN" Rivas said.

"For me, this is starting afresh, I will be bringing something to the table and I will be focusing more on my role as a player.

"With this new team I will rewrite history and I cannot wait to play my first official match."

ASES have been left with a four-man active roster following Rivas' departure, and it remains unclear who the EPS runners-up will pick up to complete their team.

yes, he sucks in compraison with his best because he dont have a good team where he can improve and preform well. When he finds it i guess he will return to the amazing level he showed some day.

Musamban1 was and is the best IGL in Spain. He has the chance of motivating FlipiN to be again, the best player of Spain. The time will tell us who was right, but don't premature despise him, maybe you guys will get surprised ;)
