Voronezh to host a $8,300 tourney

A 300,000 RUB (~$8,300) tournament is going to be held on April 12th-13th in MAXIMIR shopping centre in Voronezh, Russia, HLTV.org has learned.

The Federation of Computer Sport has decided to hold a tournament in Voronezh, Russia, with 300,000 RUB in prizemoney to be spread amongst the top three teams.

There is only one known team attending, which is Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy's Courage, but a mix team named LANKLAN with Sergey "Fox" Stolyarov has been formed for the event as well.

Three more qualifiers will be held during March and the beginning of April, spread as seen below. Teams like ACES and USSR have attended the first qualifier, but were disposed of by the two teams mentioned above.

The tournament will have no group stage, only a single elimination bracket with best-of-one in the quarter-finals and best-of-threes in semi-finals and the grand final.

Prize distribution:

1. 150,000 RUB (~$4,150)
2. 100,000 RUB (~$2,800)
3. 50,000 RUB (~$1,400)

The event will be set to begin on April 12th with the quarter-finals, while April 13th is reserved for the semi-finals and grand final. The qualifiers and the main tournament will be casted by ForMotherRussia, who will show up in our stream section.

Prices for alcohol and cigarettes are expensive only because of the healthcare programs. Russia only goes too such stuff to make nation more healthy. But yes, you right.
