ALTERNATE, EnRo to EPS Finals

The online phase of EPS Germany Spring 2014 has come to an end, with ALTERNATE and EnRo Griffins joining mousesports and Wild Fire at the LAN Finals.

After Group A was played out on Monday, seeing mousesports and Wild Fire book places in the playoffs, all Group B matches were played on Tuesday, with ALTERNATE, EnRo Griffins, Penta Sports and Death Energy battling it out for the last two places in Cologne.

In the semi-final stage, ALTERNATE were made to work hard to beat Penta and picked up a narrow 16-14 victory, while Death Energy surprisingly thrashed EnRo 16-4. The Upper Final was a close game, but in the end Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu's side, who will attend Copenhagen Games later this month, ran out 16-12 victors.

In the Lower Bracket final, EnRo looked way more lively as they were able to pick themselves up from that early disappointment and beat Penta 16-3 and then Death Energy 16-13 to seal progression to the EPS Finals.
