k1ck eSports Club have completed their CS:GO division with the addition of Rui "SHOUW" Reis.

The Portuguese team have been in turmoil after removing Ricardo "AIm" Almeida from their lineup and have been playing their recent online matches with different players, the most recent of them being Rui "emotioN" Sousa.

With k1ck now looking at the StarSeries and the Gfinity Alienware leagues in the rear view mirror, the team finally took the time to address the issue and picked up Rui "SHOUW" Reis, who was last seen playing for FTW eSports.

SHOUW to wear k1ck's shirt again

The move marks Reis' return to k1ck after the Portuguese player donned the organisation's colours for over three years during the 1.6 days.

"It is good to be back to k1ck, it has been two years since I left this organisation due to personal matters and lack of availability, but now I have time again for the big games and the tournaments!," Reis told k1ck's website.

"I hope I will be able to prove my worth in this game and that this is a good news to everyone who supports k1ck."

k1ck now have the following lineup:

João "KillDream" Ferreira

I'm pretty sure the name doesn't have anything to do with it. The organisation/players doesn't take it as serious as reddit does. The story behind it is that emotioN got the awp from csgolounge like that and forgot to remove it or something similar (hes not the awper afterall). I wouldn't blame him if that's the truth, it can happen.

that's the problem though. because we lack a strong competitive scene, they get away with just skill. that doesn't work against other top tier teams, at least consistently.

now I understand why the organization name is k1ck. They k1ck someone every month. Btw emotion was playing very well last matches, while rmn and killdream were struggling. rmn needs to improve his game fast before we see his head next month.

RMN and killdream didn't play with a racial slur on their awp. Now, RMN claimed he won the awp in betting and claimed he just 'forgot' to remove the nametag (or, you know, not use that awp). But that brings in the other issue that pro players really shouldn't be betting on their matches, whether it's real money or skins.

Killdream is one of their best player, he played perfectly vs ACES and basically carried the game (thx for the skins), but I agree about rmn, he's not good at all... yet emotion wasn't that good either

Just to remember some of the guys here, EmotioN was nominated in 2011/2012, i dont quite remember, 3RD BEST RIFLER ON CSS PLAYING IN EUROPE. EmotioN stopped playing a lot of time ! And even tho, he can be the 2nd best player on k1ck, but since k1ck only wants 1.6 players, they dont kick killdream neither rmn LOOOOL

Believe in what you want. But EmotioN had more impact on EU scene, then any 1.6 player excluding Fox ofc :) He was nominated 3RD best rifle on EU on css . Its a fact ! Who's k1ck IGL atm? I don't understand this change, emotioN was doing his job. The problem is within the team's core, be it tactics or mentality. Just look at kennyS ace vs them yesterday, they look like bots. Where's Portugal's talented new blood? Maybe there's none dunno. I just know eventually fox will retire and rip our scene (internationally).

This news makes me have mixed feelings. I really like to see SHOUW playing and he seems to be a really nice and laid back guy, but at the same time I feel sorry for emotioN, because I also think he had a good impact on the team and I'm not a fan of changing players all the time. I guess K1CK had their reasons so as always I hope K1CK can be successful and wish them the best of luck.
