NiP to grand final over dignitas

dignitas opened up the series with a won pistol round as counter-terrorists on de_inferno. Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund's failed one-on-three attempt on round three forced NiP to save again, digging them a 0-4 hole.

A full weapon round stop in the A site by the Danes extended their lead to 6-0 before Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg's one-on-three conversion got NiP on the board. Doubles by Nicolai "device" Reedtz and Petar "dupreeh" Rasmussen stopped NiP after.

Down 1-8 after a save round, it was in-game leader Richard "Xizt" Landström's turn to play the hero as he took home a crucial one-on-two win. Next Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen and Reedtz combined for four, winning one back.

NiP's inability to string round wins together kept on through the first half, as Adam "friberg" Friberg won a one-on-two to make it 3-10, only for the Danish in-game leader Christensen to get a triple and the next round.

f0rest won a key one-on-three on de_inferno 

NiP ended the half well with Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson scoring four AK47 kills in the A bombsite, giving them some momentum at half time and a 4-11 deficit, still some margin for error left.

The Swedes won their defensive pistol round, and their star players Alesund and Lindberg took down two opponents each to win round number three, extending their streak to five in a row.

dignitas then took out A to get to twelve, successfully faked out B and planted in A to get to thirteen and finally saw Reedtz win a key one-on-one in the A bombsite, once again, to build a massive 14-8 lead.

That's when the collapse happened. NiP first stopped the Danes in B, forcing them to save. Next three rounds saw NiP win a full save round and a pair of buys, getting them to 13-14.

Double kills by Johansson and Landström in A tied the game at 14-14, and a triple by Lindberg around the big pit area of the A bombsite suddenly gave NiP their first lead of the map.

device seemed to be carrying dignitas at times 

A double kill round by René "cajunb" Borg got dignitas to overtime, but they were out of fuel. NiP ran laps around them in the first two rounds, and then Friberg and Alesund took out the entire dignitas team.

Now up 3-0 and three map points to work with, NiP wasted no time in seeing Lindberg and Landström get two kills each to win the overtime 4-0 and the opening map 19-15.

Friberg won a one-on-one versus dignitas' Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth on NiP's counter-terrorist pistol round on de_nuke. The Danes then butchered a four-on-two advantage on the third round.

Down 0-4, Friberg's AK47 triple gave NiP their fifth round before Reedtz' pair of kills got dignitas on board. Rasmussen then ran out of time on the next round versus Landström, and dignitas were broke.

After a lengthy pause play resumed, with NiP still in control. The Swedes won three more rounds to go up 9-1 before two kills from Reedtz bought dignitas their second round.

friberg came up with big plays on de_nuke 

The Danes were then mowed down in upper by Alesund and company, forcing them to save once more. Reedtz once again stepped up, this time with Christensen, getting dignitas the next round.

Friberg then scored three kills on the final round of the half, ending it with a commanding 12-3 lead for the Ninjas who now had a chance to end the series with four round wins as terrorists.

Højsleth won a one-on-one to keep dignitas' hopes alive in the next half. A one-on-two by Christensen won the Danes round three, and Rasmussen's three quick M4A4 headshots got them to 7-12.

Another quick win and a NiP save got dignitas to 9-12, before Lindberg and Landström converted a two-on-five into a NiP round. dignitas moved NiP down once more, and forced the Swedes to save.

Still up 13-11, NiP won two quick straight rounds, and then with dignitas low on money, closed out the series with an easy win picking up the Danes outside on the yard.
