GeT_RiGhT: "I'd rather win [on] LAN"
We spoke with Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund from NiP, the world's best team and favorites going into DreamHack Summer 2014.
As with our previous interviews, Alesund speaks about NiP's preparation, the break from competition and their opposition at DreamHack to start off our quick interview.
He then discusses NiP's mediocre online results in comparison to their LAN play, as well as Natus Vincere, who upset the Swedes in Kiev a month ago. Continue reading for the rest of his answers.

GeT_RiGhT's NiP hope to defend their title from last summer
How have you prepared for DreamHack Summer; do you feel ready for the event? Have you only practiced online or also bootcamped? How do you plan on spending the remaining time before the event kicks off?
GeT_RiGhT: For the actual event we've been playing a lot online, going through what's wrong on different maps to get really prepared. We're also planning a bootcamp on Monday that's coming to make the last phase of our preparation for DreamHack Summer much better than it is right now!
Do you believe the lengthy break from LAN competition since Copenhagen Games will affect the results at DreamHack in any way, or does constantly playing official matches online make up for it? Are you afraid of giving up your game plan too much online?
GeT_RiGhT: Not really, we played a small LAN qualifier for eSport SM - where the finals will be at DreamHack Summer - and we didn't qualify for the playoffs of FACEIT Spring League, since we played really bad in the beginning of the group stage for the tournament. But that's nothing that affects us in the bigger picture if you ask me. It was a long time ago and we had the chance to really put in new things and be more prepared for DreamHack Summer than you would be when you're showing your new strats online for a different tournament.
Who do you think will be your toughest opponents at DreamHack? Any potential dark horses who have seemed particularly strong lately that you think might surpass everyone’s expectations in Jönköping? Anyone who might disappoint?
GeT_RiGhT: Since I don't like this sort of question - mostly, because when I say something official it backfires against me - I'll go with a standard answer and say everyone will perform well! ;D

What do you make of your chances at DreamHack? What would be a realistic goal for your team, and what would you be ok settling at? Is there any extra pressure for you to perform well at this particular event?
GeT_RiGhT: The chances are good in my opinion, we've been getting a lot of 'free' time to do our thing and really work with our hours that we weren't able to before, since there are always so many online games. So now you have some breathing room unlike before. But DreamHack Summer is always really important for us, since it has eSport SM on-site as well and it's on home soil :).
Despite your shaky results online you’ve been the best team in the world so far in 2014. Are you at all worried that form may follow you to LAN? Do you simply play worse online, or are other teams stronger at home? What do you account the difference to?
GeT_RiGhT: We've always played bad before events, even though it was more than two weeks ago we played an official game online. But I'm not worried. I just believe that we're not on the highest level when we're playing online, like we are when it actually matters - at LAN events. Even though the prize pools online have been bigger than before, I'd rather win a LAN tournament than an online event, personally.
What do you expect from Na`Vi at DreamHack Summer? Do you think the fact SLTV StarSeries IX Finals took place in Kiev played a part in their success? Do you consider them a legitimate title contender now after their win?
GeT_RiGhT: I have no idea about Na`Vi. Zeus told me it was more than two years since they won a LAN tournament when they won over us in Kiev. When I heard this, I was happy for him. Since I know that feeling all too well and you never want to be a team that never wins. I do however feel they have a pretty good shot at winning DreamHack Summer - like all the other teams that are attending. There is no exception for any team that's attending DreamHack Summer if you ask me, any team can win if they have their 'day' - like us, Titan, Na`Vi, etc.
NiP will get to defend their title from DreamHack Summer 2013 starting on June 14, when this year's event kicks of at Elmia in Jönköping, where HLTV.org will be on-site for full coverage.
